just curious, i noticed some entries that appeared to be EK9 models based on some interior and exterior parts but they had a 4 lug wheel setup instead of the 5...are they Ek4 with EK9 parts perhaps? or are the EK9 using EK4 hubs/knuckles for better wheel choice and/or price?

Good question. All of the nine entrants on the weekend running EK's were all using EK9 models with some adaptions.

Ek9 n1 model (race base)came from factory with 4 stud.
