First time watching one of your video reviews. It's refreshing to have no reviewer talking (blathering). You conduct the business of driving the vehicle without pointing out things that any idiot can see for themselves. I must confess that my right foot was pressing the floor when you hit 60 MPH on that back road.....I've never done that before watching any other review. Thanks and well done.
Totally agree, every other reviewer is like here is the front headlights, here are the cup holders and here is where you put your phone, some even like to play fantasy auto designers.😂
Seriously considered one of these last August, but ended up choosing a 2024 Nissan Versa, manual transmission instead. While I liked the features of the Trax, and the fact that it had a conventional automatic transmission instead of a CVT, I was concerned with the longevity of the 3 cylinder with a turbo. Seems like an untested option with the possibility of major problems down the road. The Nissan has a conventionally aspirated 4 cylinder engine, versions of which have been in use since the early 2000's. It has proven to be a reliable engine. Add to that the tried and true (and repairable) manual transmission, I just felt more comfortable with these options.
I was thinking when you were 'Gunning It' on those back roads a deer could of popped up very easily. LOL I have been seeing them at all times of the day. Not just at dusk or dawn anymore.
*The most interesting part about this video to me is that although it says you drove the Trax Activ, you actually drove everything BUT the Activ. You drove the very base model Trax LT which was the red one you showed yourself getting into at the beginning and out of at the end of the video. However, from **6:39** to **9:28** you drove a yellow Trax 2RS. I know they all have the same powertrains, but there are slight differences between all of them inside and out and I just wanted to see the Trax Activ during daytime driving for a change as opposed to everyone's RS or base only videos.*
The first one the Orange is the active that have a larger display 11.0 inch display and digital cluster then in the midle of the video he switch to the cheaper one in yellow color that have analog cluster and little display screen 8.0 inch.
Unfortunately I have a 2017 Chevy Trax and I don’t think I’ll ever buy a Chevy again, but for sure would never buy another Trax. Absolute nightmare of a vehicle. 😡🤬
It appears you were also driving a yellow LS model. In future videos please honk the horn so we know if it's quite wimpy or loud enough to alert other drivers. I haven't seen any other reviewer do this. And those vents don't appear to be angled well. Can you adjust them?
Zale- I think the eventual statistics is they will sell a ton of them for many different reasons. The average buyer could care less how many cylinders or horsepower it has.
@@jdm1039 if they do while getting LESS efficiency than a drastically more reliable japanese model that makes more power then they're a complete moron. There's no other conclusion to come to
And no all-wheel-drive. The only reason why the Trax sold well in the past is because it was one of the least expensive all-wheel-drive crossover you could get. All the older Trax i see around here are all awd. It's just a marketing technique to put older Trax buyers behind the wheel of a Equinox or Blazer.

i cannot believe i’m actually going to say this but i really want this car
트랙스 크로스오버 RS 출고 대기 중 입니다. 밀라노 레드 색상으로 주문했거든요.
Can't believe I'm saying it but I love the orange. OMG, a real spare tire.
Torque off the line seems great....obviously acceleration drops off since 137hp isn't exactly ideal but for the price point it seems quite adequate.
Considering this as my first BRAND NEW car purchase
Even with the winters in my state i'm still wanting this car because the value is incredible. The look is good enough.
Sir, did you swap model in the middle of the video? And why do you insist on driving this Trax like it were a sport car?
Absolute beauty of a car. I hope I’ll be able to have this soon
0:00 for trax lt / activ and 6:45 for rs1
4:25 you can see the flasher indicator lamp in the dashboard lag when he turns it on... LOL
Looks like the low end torque is pretty sufficient on this car!❤
it sound so good
Love the truck around 7:10 just slowly wandering in and out lane. So much of my driving is being stuck behind that guy.
I was hoping the 2024 model would have the new chime disappointed cuz I was looking into getting a Trax cuz I’m single and lonely lol
Sad but it’s still very good I like the old one
