Is Madden 25 GOAT? No, it clearly has its problems. But I agree, this game is criminally underrated. Been playing it recently and been having more fun with it then any Madden's that have came out the past several years.
There are definitely some legacy issues in M25 on the Xbox One but it's sooooooo nice that you don't get sucked into animations like most Maddens. Sure, a lot of tackles and stuff look the same but the physics behind interactions is what we need to get back to. My main gripe is probably trucking. Sometimes your guy runs through a defender like he's a piece of paper lol I own M25 for the 360 as well but it's not that good lol The true step and muted physics engine for the next gen was a great addition to the game. Too bad they didn't build upon that physics based engine. We would have probably had something quite nice by now.

@@TheChrisPhoenix That one I'm still unsure about. I think game save data can be stored on USB for PS4. Microsoft chose the cloud route. If my suspicion is true, you would just need to move your game and saves over to USB, and find a computer program to allow it to be viewed on a PC. Kinda like modding in the APFe community.
Well 05 had the hit stick but nothing for offense 06 had the truck stic, which left out finesse backs 07 turned it into the highlight stick and added the tap sprint tackle battle along with quick jukes. And had NFL Street controller layout ! 08 added a few new double team tackles and a one handed catch animation but took out the controller layout, the superstar mode where you choose your parents, and the gameplay is basically the same as 07. So to answer your question, I play 07 because it was the height of the gameplay, franchise, and superstar. Some might say 08 because of the player weapons and player roles in franchise, which is 100 % understandable. You can't go wrong with 07 or 08 really. But I also play 2K3 in 2K resolution so it's super nice. But Madden can only play at about 720p and maintain a solid FPS but it's still better the that horrible original resolution lol
EldestTheGreat wow you do know your stuff. I like 09 the most for PS2 because they added even more gameplay like break sack and a couple more break tackle animations. But you are probably right that Madden 07 could be overlooked as the best Madden ever.
@@thecompulsivefootballer6706 People generally have their favorites but if you go off of core features such as franchise, gameplay, superstar - I think 07 / 08 was the peak for all that. I would play 08 but the controll scheme is ehhh. plus they changed the superstar to where you just have a bunch of skill points and make him some lopsided athlete lol 07 used your parent's pedigree which I thought was a nice touch.

Yes! It's available on the Xbox One. You just have to have Xbox live to go to the community files and over to rosters and you should see it there. A lot of the rosters that you see posted under the roster section are just fake rosters. But mine will say Madden 08 and it'll have my name as a creator.
@@paxtonchancey6558 You're welcome! I'm not player for player, that would take forever lol But it's 24 starters for all 32 teams. Or 25 if a team ran a 3-4 defense then and a 4-3, or vice versa. I did the other DT and ILB so that even if you don't switch schemes to match the 08 one, you'll still have their starting 11 from back then. I had M08 booted up on my 360 on another tv so I glanced back and forth doing the players ratings and such. Took about 2 hours per team and about 3-4 weeks to just do the starters. Super time consuming but I'm glad people are finding out about it. That's why I'm posting about it on YT

My fav Madden 🤙🏼 best gameplay without a doubt. Even the franchise was pretty nice. This is the main Madden I play even still to this day

Sliders to stop impossible interceptions, be great for great receivers to catch the ball every now and then.
I've never been good at sliders unfortunately. I've usually just used All Pro or All Madden depending on the challenge I want to have lol
