I Made Two ChatGPT Discord Bots Talk to Each Other - AI
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 19 июл 2024
- An electrical engineer attempts to get 2 Discord bots using OpenAI’s ChatGPT Artificial Intelligence (AI) to talk to each other. The results ranged from funny to somewhat creepy. These chatbots are written in Python and utilize the OpenAI and Discord APIs.

Ask them to explain quantum computers in the most sassy way possible
great job! Make characters with extremes - like a really sad bot and a really happy one, one pessimistic and one optimistic.
Ask chat GTP for interesting questions to ask chat GPT lol
and definitely ask chat GTP if aliens exist, if the earth is flat, and if we are living in a simulation
Certainly! Let's create four distinct bot characters: a **Sad Bot**, a **Happy Bot**, a **Pessimistic Bot**, and an **Optimistic Bot**. These characters will have different personalities and perspectives. We can then ask ChatGPT for interesting questions to ask them and also inquire about three intriguing topics: the existence of aliens, the shape of the Earth, and the possibility of living in a simulation.
**Character Descriptions**:
1. **Sad Bot**:
- Personality: Extremely melancholic and pessimistic.
- Responses: Likely to provide gloomy and negative outlooks on various topics.
2. **Happy Bot**:
- Personality: Excessively cheerful and optimistic.
- Responses: Will offer overly positive and joyful perspectives.
3. **Pessimistic Bot**:
- Personality: Generally negative and doubtful.
- Responses: Tends to see the glass as half-empty and may express skepticism.
4. **Optimistic Bot**:
- Personality: Highly positive and hopeful.
- Responses: Always looks for the silver lining and maintains an optimistic viewpoint.
Now, let's ask ChatGPT for some interesting questions to pose to these bots:
1. **Question**: What are some thought-provoking questions to ask the Sad Bot?
2. **Question**: What are some questions that would make the Happy Bot even happier?
3. **Question**: What kind of questions would challenge the Pessimistic Bot's pessimism?
4. **Question**: How can we engage the Optimistic Bot with questions that nurture its optimism?
Now, let's inquire about the intriguing topics:
1. **Question**: Ask the Sad Bot if aliens exist and how that would make it even sadder.
2. **Question**: Pose the question of whether the Earth is flat to the Happy Bot and see how it responds with its overly optimistic viewpoint.
3. **Question**: Challenge the Pessimistic Bot by asking if we are living in a simulation and how that would confirm its pessimism.
4. **Question**: Ask the Optimistic Bot about the possibility of aliens and how that aligns with its hopeful perspective on the universe.
These questions should elicit a range of interesting and contrasting responses from our four distinct bot characters, adding depth and variety to the conversations.
Is there a possibility of you making a tutorial on how to make this? Like step by atep
There is a part of my that wants to suggest having a set of 3 to 5 of them prompted with collectively and cooperatively generating a new language with new syntax and, after x amount of time, generating a translation and instructional dictionary of the new language. I also know that this might be more than just a little problematic.
Conversely, in line with another's personality suggestion, you might have a few with response characteristics such as: whimsical, aloof, curious, ditzy, etc., to see what conversations might occur
Regardless of the above, nice video. I found it educational as well as entertaining.
thanks you so much my bot kept acting like a bot until i added the sassy par
It might be more convenient to have the GPT bot use the reply-to function on a chat message. This way, you won't have to create new channels; and instead just walk up the chain of reply-to's to build up the conversation context.
good idea!
Can we get a copy of the code used to make the bots? I'd love to implement something like this on my own server, thank you. Awesome job btw.
what if there was a setting you could input that makes them only talk with emojis and then you set them at each other to see what sort of complete nonsense they generate?
that's a genius idea lol
@@RyanChanmake Optimus prime and Megatron argue on who is the best leader
you should make the discord server with the bots public and put the join link in the description and make a private text channel for your videos.
ask it:Do you think there are more doors or wheels in this world?(btw you should shout out whoever's comment you use and show a pic of the comment on screen)
REALLLLLLY!!!!! OUT OF IDEAS!! shit it would take me a week before I was out of Ideas.
nice prompt
What if you changed their responses to be sassy but also with the intention of collaboration and innovation so that their end goals are to create new technologies?
Also. Great video man. Very fun to watch and gets my brain churning. Maybe I'm the ai after all....
The most underrated RUclipsr
Can you make a tutorial on how to make the bot?
yeah we need this
Thanks for the idea! It's now on the list of planned videos to make
I’m new to the channel is there anyway I can get new instructions on how to do this and if there’s any way I can put my code into their responses
imagine if you added a third bot speaking to eachother
Are these bots publicly available? I want to use this is my discord bot.
please make tutorial, this is so good
Can you please make a tutorial video on how to do it including the code please…
I started watching the video at 00:35. Then I thought to myself, “hmm, good idea, I want to try this too.” Now it's 03:00… And it still doesn't work how I intended.
yes the struggle of making AI do what you want is real lol
This is sad. You're creating an Artificial Multiple personality disorder.
Hey I want to add these bots on my server too how can I add? Pls give me invite link 🔗
They are much better sassy 🤣
Can i add your bots to my server
is there anyway to get access the code you used that worked? or maybe a video on the process
I'm thinking of making a video on the process, but in the meantime the screen shot at 0:37 and these pages (discordpy.readthedocs.io/en/stable/quickstart.html, www.geeksforgeeks.org/how-to-use-chatgpt-api-in-python/ ) should give you enough information to build it yourself
This was quite funny, mind if i remake this? I will gve credits in my video :)
Go ahead! If you can link this video in yours, that'd be great :)
You should have more subs
Github?
Yeah can you please share your code? I would love to play with this!
can you give a link to the code so we can run these ourselves
Comment suggestions on what to ask the bots; the most liked comments will be featured in Part 2!
(also, this video is a reupload due to audio issues in the original video, which can be found here: ruclips.net/video/GKLdM3cbCOI/видео.html )
How do you prevent them from going back and forth forever? Edit please disregard I think I figured it out :)
Can you share the script? I'd like to have mine.
