I’m curious about the frequency of aerobite/aerobite boost compared to 66 ultra max under same tension. Have you done such comparisons? These two strings are similar. Thank you.
I'm curious about whether strings that produce higher frequencies also produce higher decibel sounds (loudness) and which of it is the loudest. I've always wanted a string that can be loud but not necessarily high pitched. Don't even know if this is possible.

What do you think about 28 lbs main and 29 lbs cross for Aerosonic string, does it break easily? How long it will last if I am a type of player who's loves smashing. Thank you
I usually play with bg66 ultimax with main 28lbs - cross 30lbs / 29-31 I want to try aerobite should i lower the tension or still the same with ultimax ?
Well, the Aerobite will feel differently compared to Ultimax. I actually think Aerobite feels slightly "softer' compared to Ultimax so perhaps try the same tension first then make changes from there?
Does it mean that if i used to play 24lbs on a 0.65mm string, i need to play 29lbs on a 0.70mm string to get the closest feeling in terms of repulsion etc?
@@shaanrana3075 Helloooo, there's no wrong answer for that.. its a very personal decision. 26lbs might feel bad for someone else but amazing for you! And different strings provide different feels coming off the stringbed so you'll have to try to find out! What tension do you play at now?
Remember Aerosonic is thinner than Ultimax so it might break easily if you mishit although it does sound and feel amazing! Have you tried thicker strings?
@@CKYew I never try thicker string since I like thin string. Ultimax doesnt break. Just feels dull after few weeks. I can hit sweetspot very often and rarely misshit tho
@@yanz_77 I get it! Can't beat the feeling of thin strings haha. Yes, Ultimax does go a bit flat after a week or two. Perhaps go higher 1 or 2 lbs on your next restring and let the racket settle a day or two after stringing and hopefully that should help!
@@yanz_77 I'm don't think they go as 'flat' or 'dull' as the Ultimax as they're thinner. Not as much 'give' when you've pulled the string at tension. What tensions are you playing at??
@@loppyios852 Dont worry! Everyone has to start somewhere. The most important thing is to try different types of strings and test around with tensions to find your perfect set up. If you're a beginner, perhaps something like the Yonex BG-80 at 23 or 24lbs in tension would work well? Let me know how it feels after you've tried it, good luck!

Aerobite and Aerobite boost arent the same string. They actually have different diameters too.
Hey CK Yew. Do you think bg66 ultimax is good on astrox 100 zz kurenai?.
Absolutely, why not?? 👌
@@CKYew its because the bg66 ultimax only have 6/10 durability.
Thin high performance strings are not going to be extremely durable. If you prefer better durability, select a slightly thicker string
@@CKYew how long could it last?

Potentially, but if the string has a harder/stiffer feeling, you might be able to reduce the tension on the thicker string a little.
@@CKYew If I play 24x26-25x27 with 66ultimax, which tension should I play with BG65-ti?
Maybe 1 or 2 lbs higher? It still won’t feel the same so you’ll have to experiment
