You are marvelous, Erin. All other videos direct you to go to different websites and download other apps to combine the files. You are the only one who gave the right approach. More power to you. Keep doing the good work.
I love how clearly this is explained. It would be great if you could add the option where you combine different copies of the same PDF with comments from different people in each, and how only the comments are combined.
When I have a question about something, it is *so* nice to see a beautiful woman with a sweet voice showing me exactly what I need to do. Thank you, Erin, for always having the best answers.
Hello Erin, I watched your past videos on how to solve headings in muti-level section, but I have a question. Is it possible to add figures under each headings like a figure in heading 1, figure in heading 2 and so on and link the caption of those figures to table of figures? I have tried it, but microsoft word recognizes all the figures I put under each heading as heading 1, (and not in each heading accordingly) is there a way to solve this. I really need your help
Thank you so much for watching my videos! Just to clarify, are you formatting text as a heading level (e.g., Heading 2) and then immediately creating a figure under the heading without any text between the heading and the figure? So, it appears like this: Heading 2 Figure Figure Caption
So for a number of years now whenever I've had to combine several PDFs into one I print them out separately, then scan them. It's a pain, particularly at busy times. I'm looking forward to trying this!
Thank you for watching! I have a separate tutorial showing a quick way to reduce PDF size that you may find helpful: ruclips.net/video/UmgNx4PnEuc/видео.html. I wish you all the best with your project!
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your shortcut menu. Are you able to combine files using the Create button shown in the first method?
That button is a bit touchy. You have to hover your cursor over it rather than click it. An alternative is to select Menu and then select Combine Files from the drop-down menu. Thank you for watching!
I don't know why, but my combined files keep coming out as a list. And so I can't actually open them all together. I've tried multiple times and I'm honestly frustrated at this point.
That sounds like a frustrating issue. Just to clarify, are the file names appearing as a list after you select the individual files and then press the blue Combine button?
@erinwrightwriting No, they aren't! I've figured out why it was happening. Turns out I set it to save as portfolio. Didn't know this because I just started using Adobe. So I did this because I previously was prompted to because some of the files had digital signatures. Found out from Adobe Community that you can't save as a binder if any of the files has a digital signature.
@@nishkim__ I am sorry to hear that your text color is not correct. You can adjust it by selecting the Edit PDF option and then selecting Text. However, if it is still not working, you may want to reach out to Adobe support. I wish you the best of luck!
