I’ve made bottle rockets with my engineering students for years, and we launch them at 90-110 psi. Yes occasionally they explode. We do all our testing and launches at 70 psi then push them as far as we can. Soda bottles are rated for 70psi. Try another round but use an electronic solenoid to open the valve for added explosion! Then you could throw on a trip wire for lots of surprise fun! Cheers Sam!
Fantastic suggestion! That's awesome to hear about making bottle rockets, I also was hazy on how much PSI a soda bottle could take thank you for that! Thank you for watching I hope you enjoyed it!
I haven't tested that yet but you made me curious enough to try it. I'll comment back when I get a chance to test. Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed the video!!
Thank you! I also think i am underrated lmao. It should be able to launch a chunk of potato its too small for half a potato. Thank you for watching I hope you enjoyed!
Yo dude great video. You don't nearly get the views you deserve. See you at the top For feedback these videos r dope af, but i found myself skipping to see what the air cannon could actually do before i could decide if i'd care about the build. I have a suggestion. Through editing. You already have a gr8 iconic intro, so maybe you could include some visuals there - quickly showing off what this 7 mins of my life are going to look like. Ease me into it. Lube me up, you know? 🌹 For inspo (especially for intros) i look at Brad Leone's show, "It's Alive", on the Bon Appetit YT channel. ☀️
Thank you for the kind words, and the feedback! I really appreciate it! I will keep that in mind for future videos, those are really good ideas! Thank you again, and thank you for watching! I hope you enjoyed it!

what kind of valve did you use please
Pretty sure it was this one. Thank you for watching!
1/2 in. PVC Sch. 40 Solvent x Solvent Ball Valve
How long will the valve hold the pressure? Does it leak out after a few minutes or hours?

The only thing missing is a kid who can geek out with you!
Thank you for watching, hope you enjoyed it!
For $5 each you could set up a whole battery of them and have a salvo of confetti ready to blast
Don't tempt me I'll do it.
Thanks for watching!
U haven't mentioned the cost of the compressor 😅
Best part is you can use a bike pump! Thanks for watching!
Awesome!! Doing something similar with my students in September... Keep bringing the diy's but PLEASE don't get all technical like other DIY's
Thank you so much! Yeah I'm going more story driven with a touch of science.
Thank you so much for watching I'm glad you enjoyed it
Great video! When will you upload again?
Thank you so much glad you enjoyed it! I am working on finishing up my next video now! Should be out in a few days a week at most!
My favorite part was when he looked down the barrel of the air cannon.
Safety is overrated lol.
Thank you for watching I hope you enjoyed it!
Would it be able to launch a potato, or half a potato, also you are super underrated.

I would feel it with pepper spray
Who hurt you? Lol
Thank you for watching!
@@SamMakes Hurt me. Lol. Tho I am a science and math nerd, I, inflict, all the pain
Fill it with popcorn.
That would be delicious!
