Strictly on the scent alone, Sauvage Parfum is definitely my favorite of the lineup. It may project a bit less, but it's a great flanker for the Parfum version.
Parfum is the best. Hands down. It has spicy mandarin orange and sandalwood instead of ambroxin. It’s more fall/winter than edt and edp. Parfum is supposed to be more personal date night as it sits closer to skin It has a lot less alcohol

Jeremy, I am very grateful for your channel. I have been blind buying fragrance for years and was never truly happy with my choices. your channel has helped me decide whats worth it and what isn't. thank you for that :)
First time I smelt Sauvage at an airport store felt in love with it. Bought a 200ml from Amazon months later. I really love it every time I wear it, what a scent!
Can we talk about how the parfum version smells totally different, at least in my opinion.. to me the parfum smells soft and gentle in baby powder kind of way but also strong and pleasingly confident . I took one smell of this and said …ahhhh.. I LOVE IT ,., Got 2 Have It .. the parfum is hands down MY personal favorite. Good thing I watched this video After I already bought it 🤷🏼♂️😁😁😁
It's been five years since I got Dior Sauvage EDT and I can definitely say that this is the perfume in my 50+ collection that collects the most compliments. The other 2 versions of Dior Sauvage are a compromise solution. I must specify that I am talking about the EDT version produced until the beginning of 2018, the newer editions of EDT are different.
@Cork H94 I am sure that the idea of all perfume manufacturers is to be massively pleasant, but not all of them succeed. No one will make a perfume with the idea of everyone pointing a finger at you and saying it smells bad.
If you spray to less, yes it sometimes online last a few hours, but 1-2 more sprays and it last a whole day on clothes. Its not so heavy like edt and edp, it has more vanilla, less pepper, but its very very nice especially for the evening/bed time when you chill. I love all 3
I am so confused right now, for the diversity of opinions. Wanted to give an order of 200ml at once, my Versace is finishing up almost, so which one shall I go for? Don't want to regret after buying it... oh btw I am a perfume guy myself and I personally prioritize longevity AND slight diffusiveness, since longevity is inversely proportional to projection.
I recently got a bottle of Parfum and wore it for the first time today. You would’ve never guessed it was Sauvage if someone gave you a strip to sniff blind. It projects a little for about 2 hours and smells a little gourmand. It almost smells like Polo: Supreme Oud. At the 4 hour mark it becomes a close skin scent and reminds me of baby oil.
@@ShittyStain I’ve gotten compliments with the EDT & EDP formulations. I’ve only worn the Parfum in public once for the first time and I don’t believe it is really for going out. This is more for intimate situations like Netflix and chill. You can overspray like crazy and you won’t offend anyone. It projects maybe 2 feet off of you for an hour or two then gets very close and it lasts 12+ hours close to the skin. Yeah, I do enjoy and appreciate the scent. I wear it after taking showers and before bed. I don’t think it’s worth the price at all though! A high price for an intimate scent is a tough sell.
@@DanXJ19 which of the three would you suggest for someone (me) who primarily likes to smell the scent in my personal bubble without having to put my wrist to my face, and secondarily wants at least decent projection for going out?
@@reverbandchill No matter which one you get, edp, edt or parfum, you wont be able to smell it on yourself, because your nose gets used to it. I told him “next time dont use too much” and he told me “sorry i didnt know i was overspraying, i couldnt smell it on myself so i thought i had the right amount”. Personally i suggest parfum or edt, parfum has the best smell and its quite light projection so it’s difficult to overspray, edt projects well but doesnt smell as nice as edt, and edp is just too strong sometimes, elixir is also too strong

Absolutely beautiful fragrance. Completely blows the other two out of the water, there’s simply no comparison. Of course it doesn’t project like the edt and edp, it’s a parfum. I’m really surprised you recommended the edt over this. The difference is night and day.
I just bought this today, had the EDT and EDP before aswell but the EDT is pretty horrible imo. Not much performance after 2 or 3 hrs compared to EDP which lingers the next day after a shower too. Initial thoughts of the Parfum is that its pretty similar to EDP and hopefully lasts just as long too
