The Portes du Soleil is the largest international ski resort in the entire world! The resort has 12 ski resorts, 308 slopes with a total length of more than 600 km and allows you to switch between Switzerland and France. There are plenty of roundtrips one can do in the Portes du Soleil. One of them would be starting from Morgins - where we stayed heading over to Champoussin, Les Crosets, Chavanette, Champéry, Pointe de Mosette, Les Lindarets, Avoriaz and again back to Morgins via Mosette. All of this in just 1 day without doing any slope more than once! The largest station on the Swiss side is Les Crosets at where you can take numerous lifts. The highest elevation is at the Pointe de Mosette on 2200m that is entirely on Swiss ground. The best ski season is from Mid-December until end March. Sometimes, skiing in April is also possible but thats all depends on snow conditions, we went for Christmas and New Year and they werent good condition on Swiss side so mostly we were skiing on French side.
The Swiss wall, one of the steepest slopes in the entire world with an incline of greater than 90%.

What a beautiful ski resort!! I actually had no idea that this was the biggest one in the world - but it sure is beautiful. Seemed like a bit of a blizzard near the end and lovely fireworks display too.
It was 10days of skiing so normally we get all sort of weather 🙈. Xmas and New Year in the mountains is like dream come true 😊

Always down to ski!! I'm putting this place on my bucket list. The views from the gondola of the mountain! Wow! Oh all that fresh pow pow. Having a beer up there reminds me of my time at Innsbruck Austria. So absolutely breathtaking!

The landscape views from the resort are absolutely breathtaking. I really need to spend sometime on some snowy mountains some time. These ski fields look like so much fun.

Wow this is a pretty cool place to come and ski. There is so much snowy terrain to ski over. And I like that village area and everyone was just casually skiing through it as if they were walking. I hope you enjoyed your time here.
