    Hey there!
If you’re reading this, thank you for dropping by my channel and watching the vlog. 🫶🏻
Looking back (this is in November 2023, btw), this was one of the most busy weeks I had last year. Though it was productive in a sense that I got to keep up with my workload, attend family gatherings, meet friends, spend time with Flashy-boo, and rest as well. ✨
Also, as you can notice, it’s just around a week since my last living alone vlog, and managed to get one out again just in time before this week ends. I’m trying to be more consistent, which is kinda hard because of my workload, but the team behind me has been such a great help- Thank you! 🥰
Lastly, I just want to share that I’m still practicing counting my blessings or things I’m grateful for, no matter how small or normal they are. This helped me have a different perspective on life. By saying this, I hope you also find simple joy in moments, even if it’s really hard at times. 🫶🏻

So the barkhaus doggy day care looks like a really good option if you have a dog. Do they have those all over the Philippines or similar daycare facilities? How much does it cost to leave him there? Thanks for the video. Interesting. 😊

Barkhaus have a couple more branches around metro manila. But, it’s very seldom to see a dog daycare where the pups can freely run and play around. Usually they’re just in a cage or a small room ( for dog hotels) .
For the rates, it’s like 100 per hour for his size. They will also send you videos of your pup every hour ✨
Anddd thank you again for watching Caroline! 🫶🏻

Ohhh, I want to clarify, the 100 per hour is in pesos, so that's around 2 usd per hour 😊

@dailysunshayne Thanks. I figured it was in pesos.😄I checked and Barkhaus also are in Davao city where I will be retiring. So all good. One more question. Do you think it's safer for a single woman to live in a condo rather than house and lot? I'm glad it's becoming more common now for women to live alone in the Philippines. But maybe living in a house alone is not such a great idea for securityreasons? What do you think?

@@carolinewick9496omg, that’s great! Welcome to the Philippines! When are you planning to move in?
Personally, I still prefer living in a condo (you’re correct), especially because of security reasons. It’s gated, with security guards and CCTV.
Then another reason is that there’s a sense of community, which can differ per property; I would suggest looking into the public announcement boards for event schedules in the property when visiting one or looking for a place so you can have an idea. You can also join community fb groups.
Though private subdivisions also have security guards, usually only the high-end ones have good security measures in place ( and rent is expensive) 🙈.

@dailysunshayne Thanks. That's what I thought. Although sometimes it looks like house and lot is cheaper than condos. Maybe they aren't such good communities. I'm not moving till I retire in some years time but I only thought of moving over about a month ago. So still doing extensive research to see how my life could be like. I have some family in Davao. And I used to live in Davao in the 80's!😅. It was very different then from what it is now. Thanks for taking the time to answer. Much appreciated.
