Does anyone play devil's advocate better than Glenn? Even if you think he agrees with the overall thesis of his guest, he does a really good job of critiquing their positions just to see how they respond. It's the best.

Couldn't be a more accurate observation! Glenn is the 'steal man' master, ie, he routinely presents an opposing side even better than that side's best advocate! It's down right scary! A man whose mind has mastered all sides of a debate, and that's the absolute truth!

Great interview.....but wow.....for two people who are dedicated to open dialog, it was so sad to see all the times Glenn had to say, "I'm afraid to say anything about women," and Meghan had to say, "I'm afraid to say anything about race." This really illustrates the problem we have today where your ideas are judged first by your intersectional category.

I’m a conservative Gen Xer. I probably differ or disagree with Megan on a couple issues, but I really have come to be a big admirer of her and her work. ‘The Problem with Everything’ was one of the best, most accurate books I’ve ever read. A must read for Gen Xers especially. 👍

I love that this conversation, and this book, exist. If we aren't allowed to talk about this in public, at least we can on the internet. It keeps these issues alive and well instead of allowing them to be buried. Thanks for going there! I don't see how we work through any of these controversial issues if we're not allowed to discuss things.

"Believe all women" is really code for "Push out certain men from the tribe," regardless of a charge of sexual assault. I noticed when Keith Ellison's girlfriend complained about him assaulting her, "believe all women" went out the window.

The sleeping bag scenario shows that men may be inconvenienced by a female visitor, but not threatened. Meanwhile, a woman usually will feel threatened by a physically larger male when the roles are reversed. (I agree with the feminists when they say that men and women should be regarded as intellectually equivalent, but not physically. And this is most clearly visualized in the sleeping bag scenario)

I always thought that the Harvey Weinstein case should have been looked at as a Hollywood problem. Instead, it was inflated and conflated into the Me Too movement. I try to look at things from a perspective of personal responsibility. (It's not like I haven't played the victim myself, and I've learned from it) The public supports Hollywood by giving it attention and dollars. We can see with our own two eyes how bad the system is for women, just by the way the actresses look, all cut and botoxed, hair dyed and ironed flat. I don't identify with that world and I'm surprised average people do. I have never been harassed on the job, nor do I know anyone who has. But if I had, I am well aware of the laws that exist to protect people from this, and I would have used them. The Left are the ones who create these laws, and yet they keep complaining that the system is rigged. HUH???

I think of the book "Hate Inc" by Matt Tiabii. I didn't read it but I know what it's about. Kids are taught to point at the other major party as bad guys. They are taught to cancel those who might be watching "the other cable channel". I actually took a "cultural minorities studies" kind of class. It might have been 'African American studies". But the teacher did not have much luck trying to get us to have a big Kum baya multi cultural experience. She was very disappointed and she was kind of shaming us for not "expanding our experiences" or whatever. I'm of the opinion that the identity politics is an elitist project and it also happens to get good viewership on TV but is basically something that is manufactured and regurgitated distraction and pacification and melodrama. I think that the media and the public discourse is so irresponsible and so debased that kids aren't equipped to really be prepared for the onslaught of hate and hostility and belligerence and bad faith. So a kid might vote for Trump not because he or she is informed but they are caught in a class war that has no interest in their well being or their situation. So they might be voting for Trump just because they love and believe their Dad and the only time they have family time is when they watch TV and Dad only watches FOX news and he uses it like a drug to let the steam off after work. Or not voting for Trump is like disobedience to their family or even their faith in some cases. I think kids of all classes, social strata and academic, are being totally TOTALLY left hanging. Just because most people are left hanging, but some of us are doing alright, so our kids should be fine, but if they were on their own, they would be screwed. One of the most enlightening classes I ever took is a class in the film school about the history of television.

If someone wants to pursue sexual relationships with another, without first developing the level of trust that comes with a relationship based on a significant amount of time and love, then this impractical urge to make it contract-based is going to be the natural result. Fact is, sex puts the individual into a very vulnerable position (both physically and emotionally); and if one decides to engage in the practice with people they neither know very well or love to the degree that one is willing to commit for a lifetime, then they should accept the high risk of personal damage and pain that necessarily comes with that. If you make yourself so vulnerable to someone whom you neither know, let alone love, it's a roll of the dice as to whether or not you come out of the experience at the same level of wellbeing you had going into the experience.

For the last 10 years or so the trend is to separate us into a hierarchy of victim-hood groups. I feel the left especial likes to divide us up and try to put as many as they can in groups that are victims. If you want to accrue more power, champion as many victims as possible,
But the truth is we are all individuals.
This victim game is a silly game because there are too many variables for Victors vs Victims like your - age, common sense, luck, medical health, social abilities, who brought you up, teachers, traumas, who are your best friends, environment, your size, IQ, color, attractiveness, gender, how hard you are willing to work, smell factor, neighborhood, social media, how you dress, addiction gene, agree-ability, charisma, duel parent family, competitiveness, country...

I'm not sure what it is, but the voices, some more than others, on your channel, sound harsh, a bit hard to listen to. Here Meghan's does and I've noticed it with some others too. I don't think it's them. I think it has to do with the sound equipment. Deeper voices are a bit better. You sound better. John McWhorter sounds fine.

I used to follow him, but he’s become kind of a dick. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman and wasn’t supposed to be following him. lol He and many of his subscribers seem to believe that once a woman’s past her “expiration date”, she’s essentially worthless. I really don’t understand why they care so much about women’s life choices.
