What advice do you give to a young leader trying to lead older people that might not want to change in ministry? Thanks for the amazing Leadership! Very much appreciated!
Thank you for sharing, and providing such great pointers that we fail to notice. I am still finding an answer to this question: why on earth all the great leaders with deep spiritual understanding are living either to the US or Canada? When intellect is the reason, it is "brain drain", when God is the reason is it "God drain", I feel the connection we have with God creates a very sincere interest in serving people, I miss it here in Germany. Grateful to your podcast that reaches out many like me. Thank you, 🙏❤
When i read the book Margin, i decided to set limits. What does God consider worthless events or dissipation , or anxiety creating things i should avoid? My go-to text is Luke 21:34, and Psalm 119. Those are the times, events, or things i work toward eliminating.
Q: When dealing with burnout and you're leading - how much do you share with your immediate team and those you lead? How do you balance transparency with creating a culture of psychological safety?
My boys listen to your podcast; they're in high school. Do you have any suggestions for students whose schedules are really out of their control? To clarify, they have classes and homework regardless of when their green, yellow, or red time zones are. Do you have any advice for students?
Let people know your expectations about setting appointments ahead of time, and not being the “fire fighter” for everyone. Family can have that emergency time, if needed.
Hey Team, thanks for the content. My leadership is surely getting sharper. My question: As a child (let us say the last born of the family), do you have any thoughts on how to motivate family members (including the older members) to become better leaders, and fully devoted followers of Christ. I know prayer is important and should be the first step. I was just wondering if they’re some practical steps as well. Thanks.
Sooo profound ‘ I don’t want my platform to be bigger than my character’

“Hurry” is something to continually work toward planning to do without. When i am relaxed, i can be present with people, and really hear them.
