About One Day At A Time: Set in Indianapolis, this beloved, long-running series takes a comedic but realistic look at divorcee Ann Romano (Bonnie Franklin) and her daily struggle to find her own identity while raising her two daughters, rebellious Julie (Mackenzie Phillips), 16 when the series begins, and level-headed Barbara (Valerie Bertinelli), a year younger. Even though Ann pretends to be liberated and secure, she's always treading the line between her former, deep-rooted dependence and her newly acquired independence. Building superintendent Dwayne Schneider (Pat Harrington Jr.) helps take care of the family, while lawyer David Kane (Richard Masur) tempts Ann to reconsider her single state. Ann's priority, however, is discovering her own potentials, which includes a new career, raising her daughters, and learning more about herself and her world.

Me too
@@mikep5335 Me too. I used to watch it every Sunday night before Alice and The Jeffersons. Good old days.
@@josebro352one of the best nights of tv
I love it too, and I will turn 61 next week! 😊
Me too but I’m 55.
I like to see full episodes of this '70s-'80s TV classic. it would be great.
This is a video with 2 full episodes... on a channel with dozens of full episodes.
What more do you want?!
@@LittleBlueOwl318This is a 4 partner though. I'm so glad I bought the DVDs so I can see everything.
@@Asukenicka four partner?
@@Latebar7609_ In the description it says the older man part 3 and 4.
Julie looks much more mature than seventeen years of age, so I guess it was shock for her mother to find they have strong feeling for each other.
The woman playing Julie had been molested by her real father in real life. This was a strange show to say the least.
Imagine landing a veterinarian at only 17!
Or not. A good paycheck doesn't mean he cares about her, or that he's even a good person.

Love this show! Always have!
One of the best shows ever, not to mention the theme song is awesome. 👏
That was so sad. I miss this show and this era😔
This is one of the best sitcom/drama ever. It is such a great show. I miss it so much. They pulled it off Antenna TV and it was the best show on the network. So much like Maude and how they assumed the audience was SMART. AMAZING writing and acting. They don’t have it on any streamers anymore … it used to me on several. I hope so much they bring it back to Antenna TV. Thank you so much for airing these episodes. More please. More!!!!!!! ☮️❤️☮️❤️☮️❤️☮️❤️☮️❤️
I got the chance to meet Mackenzie a few years ago. She was sooo lovely. She gave me a copy of her book. Unfortunately she didn’t sign it but I was still happy to receive it.
It's so good she's doing better.
Mackenzie Phillips was a good actress
Everyone paid attention to Barbara, but I had a HUGE crush on Julie❤❤.
So did I.
Are the first two parts here?
All Ann knew ever to do was hit and scream.
And whine and apologize when she shouldn't.
Never saw her hit but 2x. Once Julie, once Alex.
@@eloiseockert9233 She hot and punched Sam.
It's not everyday that a doctor proposes, and if he said he loved her I guess he did.
Please. For the guys, it's about trophies, for the gals, it's about money and status.
She’s only 17, 17. 😂😂😂 never thought I would recite a Winger to One Day At A Time. Lmao.
✌🏼😃
I liked this show. I’m just a little younger than Valerie
Same plot almost on his show Good Times. Thelma was dating the older man.
And from what I recall Thelma wasn't in love with the older man.
Timothy Hutton’s dad.
Who is the guy playing the veterinarian? Anyone know? Thanks!
Jim Hutton
@@lilydowning6701 thank you!
@@lilydowning6701He died shortly after.
@@Asukenickreally? That’s so interesting and sad.
@@DoctorJoanieTool He died from liver cancer in 79. He was only 45.
I am 70 in love with a uounger man 21 years my junior. But it is one sided.
Anne was so sarcastic! But i agree with her position here on the older man. The bellbottoms here are cray!!! No bra on Bonnie! I didnt realize how unlikable Joseph Campanella was in this show…weak performance.
I forgot how badly and stupidly this show was written, especially the mother character. This is terrible. Be well.
No way this show is awesome and I wasn't even born until the 90s.
