Happy holidays, everyone!! Welcome back to this year's YULE TOAD!!
Yule Toad is a 12 Days of Christmas-based event that features twelve consecutive days of uploads!! This year's Yule Toad features songs suggested (or based on suggestions) by you, the viewers! Other songs during this event are based on suggestions by the lovely artists who have helped make this possible, as well as songs I just genuinely felt like doing myself.
Today's second song was another suggestion by the wonderful, talented Austhetic [bsky.app/profi...]!! This suggestion was to make a followup on his suggestion from last year, Imperium Infernum! After some brainstorming we decided the next best step would most likely be an Enemy Approaching specifically for the Genocide run, in somewhat the same vein as RUN THE GAUNTLET.

Dogsong is built from the Enemy Approaching Leitmotif, as is that part of this song

it's more accurate to say, from a lore perspective, that enemy approaching is built from dogsong - since dogsong is toby dog's theme, and toby dog is the in-universe creator of undertale, the enemy approaching motif is derived from his theme
