Guy was born to be an educator.
I'm sure he thinks the same
Guy was born to be an actor...
@@SuperEmpath1061Well, he's great for his role as a science communicator then. Acting as what? Lol
He could be my astrology teacher
NDT's child curiosity is high level
He gets so excited teaching ppl I love that about mr deGrasse Tyson
*Doctor
That's Dr. Tyson, to you, and to all, good sir!
He is excited teaching people 🐃💩 and they eat that 💩up as true fact
Agree, I love how passionate Mr. Tyson is
What he teaches is fairy tales
*Hallelujah!!!! The daily jesus devotional has been a huge part of my transformation, God is good 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻was owning a loan of $47,000 to the bank for my son's brain surgery (David), Now I'm no longer in debt after I invested $12,000 and got my payout of m $270,500 every months,God bless Chloe Linda Henderson🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸..*
Hello how do you make such monthly ?? I'm a born Christian and sometimes I feel so down 🤦 of myself because of low finance but I still believe in God.
Thanks to my co-worker (Alex) who suggested Ms Chloe Linda Henderson.

Wow that's nice She makes you that much!! please is there a way to reach her services, I work 3 jobs and trying to pay off my debts for a while now!! Please help me.
I love Dr. Tyson. Every science teacher should be like him.
Every Science teacher is not as dumb as him though.
@@mynamemylastname7179 ironically, the grammer should be "not as dumb as he", not " as dumb as him". Pay attention if you gonna be critical about being dumb.
The ending made me tear 🤣🤣🤣
@mynamemylastname7179 You sound like a True Edomite 😈.

Nope.
@@CoolWeather28 Yup.
I love this interaction. Yo momma says you're so bright, that's why she calls you son. LOL That took me all the way out! LOL😂🤣

😂😂
When I watched it again, Lester made me laugh because of his response was...exactly. I think he was thrown off by that. LOL
Three national treasures in a video!
Shivers all across my being
Haha cool
Yes!
3 Positive black men
This was so awesome. Their personalities actually match perfectly
Al's ending emotional display was the absolute perfect entertainment component of this informative video.
He was born for this role. His excitement is infectious
America's Scientist, Weatherman and News Anchor
And out of the 3, only the America's Scientist "Dr. Tyson" is correct and full of knowledge and very inspiring.
@@bkpatl2532Yet, he can't define what a woman is.
Neil is one of the most lovable superstars on Earth.
Think about it. Since scientists before him were not in the internet age, he is the most famous and known astronomer (while he's living) ever. Meaning that while he is still alive more people know his name than any other astronomer and possibly scientist in history.

I love how excited he gets about explaining these things, it’s like if you ask a seven-year-old what their favorite dinosaur is.
Many scientists stay like that their whole lives. ❤
@@yvonneplant9434 I got my science credits in college taking two astronomy courses taught by the same professor and he was like this. Just giddy and passionate.
I saw him at a lecture 10 years ago, and he was just as enthusiastic as he is here. 😁
As excited as I am to watch, listen and learn! 🤸♀️
As a 30 year old black man who was always interested in math and science as a young kid seeing these three role models discuss this is truly something. It's okay to be a black nerd, intellectual, and curious about things that matter in the universe.
Can they do segments together more often?? This was awesome!!
PLEASE!!
Neil is so excited he's literally dancing. I love this guy
Three respectable accomplished men talking science.
Wow, three of the most likeable and respected African American TV personalities in one video, Now that is a moment to Celebrate like an eclipse!
Diversity hires
Legends!
Why did you bring up race? Are you racist?
Lester Holt had me cracking up with that flashlight! AL Roker had me laughing too! LOL I didnt realize we had two comedians on board! DeGrasse Tyson is always great! The Amazing Educator!
3:52 "Your mama says that you're so bright, that's why she calls you son." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💯
I remember being a fan of Neil deGrasse Tyson way before he became super famous 🎉 He is somone I could talk to for hours. 😃
You can't report on the Eclipse legitimately without Neil DeGrass Tyson.
What a brown nose statement. 😂
Many in the eclipse chasing community do way more research and contributions to science than Neil. Maybe you should open your eyes.
😂Give these three men a podcast there’s great chemistry between them. They seen like old good friends.🎙️
Imagine Neil and Jeff Goldblum having a conversation.
No one would be able to follow 😂
Yes yes
Oh my gosh someone should totally make that happen.❤
yes yes yes yes…
They did! It's an episode of Star Talk
What a smart, enthusiastic man. Fun to watch.
Have always loved Neil’s infinite passion 🌎 🌕 ☀️
What a beautiful show of brotherhood, friendship & joy while being freakin excellent & brilliant!!! 💜🔥💪🏾🙏🏾
adorable synergy
Enjoyed seeing Lester Holt let loose a bit.
Three black men walk into a planetarium 😁
5:19 “DARK! DARK! DARK!”
The head astronomer at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Derrick Pitts, is also black.
@@yvonneplant9434 OK, then let's change the scenario. Four black men walked in a planetarium.....😅
... and they are all confused as Fack cause "...that Stuff is FLAT" --Kneel deGas TySin.
why they gotta black huh?!
I love these guys. What chemistry together!!
Clouds: "Hold my beer."
I love Neil is cursing up a storm.
I watched the eclipse back in 2017. It was an amazing experience to see the glowing ring of the sun, the stars and planets all around and the deep dark night that all only lasted a few minutes. I had to travel a few hundred miles for it and even stayed a night at a hotel. Now I just drive about 45 minutes deeper into the path of totality that I'm already inside of to get more time. The clouds are the only concern I have for this eclipse.
Al's got some dad jokes haha
His positive mama joke got me!
😂
This was so informative and with the funny threesome of Al Roker , Lester Holt and of course Neil, this solar eclipse episode was hilarious too. Thanks you guys. ❤❤❤
The _Yo' Momma_ joke stole the show, though (3:52)
who could ever dislike this man...wish him many years ahead
He can't define what a woman is.
@@beachlife4704 Cool story, Sergei.
He loves to teach, and he’s the best at it.
Ask him to teach what a woman is. He can't.
@@beachlife4704 I already know the answer to that. I’d rather ask him about things I don’t already know.
@@tassymccormick My point is, he DOESN'T know what a woman is. How smart can he be when he doesn't know something any fifth grader knows?
@@beachlife4704 he knows. He tries not to get canceled. He has to choose his words carefully.
@@tassymccormick No, he actually advocates for he. He believes there is a gender spectrum which doesn't exist. Not trying to get canceled is one thing. He full on embraces this BS. Just look it up right here on RUclips.
That's why I say, the guy isn't very smart if he can't define what a woman is.
I'll do it. A woman is an adult human who is female that has two X chromosomes.
There. I just did what NDT couldn't.
I cried with Al at the end. OMG! What a trio for a Universal class; even ET and Elliot would've listening in awe... and as I see it coming... Et would've lighted his own finger to Neil saying, "Home, home... to much war around the world..!"
Probably the best NBC video I’ve ever seen. 3 of the greatest human beings having fun educating us.
I need to go on a road trip with these guys 😂
Solid moment between legendary dudes featuring some science 💯
They had me crying at the end, very funny moment between the 3
I just love how excited the is talking about it. He’s so precious 🥹
I love this. 3 Black men talking about science ❤❤❤❤
Racist.
Now that was awesome! May not ever see the 3 of them together again but that was comedy trio esque!
This was enjoyable and Dr. Degrasse’s enthusiasm is infectious. More of these please 😊
Niel certainly enjoys his job. He just chilling on national TV like it's a Tuesday and his own show.
I love how passionate this man is 😂😂
one of my favorite astro physicist never fails..
Here's someone's description of how the light around you on earth appeared. - "Having seen 95%ish partial eclipse, I can attest that the sky absolutely gets dark in that weird way where it’s dark like at dusk or dawn but the light is still blue-dominated instead of the reddish hues of sunrise and sunset. The best comparison I’ve heard for it was a “day for night” filter, except in real life.". /. This description of how it looks when it darkens from the solar eclipse is spot on! Another thing I noticed was how we saw cloud shadows on the ground that looked like small fast waves. By the time I got my camera ready to video it, it stopped! :~(.
I can summarize how an eclipse words in a single sentence: the moon blocks the sun😮
Tyson is my favorite I love watching his series. The only one that's makes astrology Amazing 🥰🥰
Astrology?
Neil would scream and cuss if he read this! 😂😂
These three should all have a show together
This is a really food explanation of how and why an eclipse happens. Most reports gloss over important details
flat earthers been real quite since this video dropped
Two times now Ive travelled to the center of totality and IT WAS COMPLETELY WORTH IT
Seeing only a partial eclipse is like having cake with no frosting. Totality IS the frosting
I looooove Dr. Neil so much!🥹🤩🤩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
After having just witnessed this, in full totality, this will be me at every party for a year from now. It was spectacular.
Our moon is one of the rare moons that crashed into the planet it orbits around before it started orbiting. A mars size planet named Theia crashed into Earth and exploded, leaving part of its remains to forever be part of earth, and the rest orbited earth as debris rings until it coalesced and compacted as our moon. Through the biogeochemical cycles, the elements (as in periodic elements) that are the Earth, including those that came from Theia, become part of the geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere every day. We being heterotrophs of the biosphere eat the plants and animals of the rest of the biosphere and those same elements become our literal physical composition.
What you are made of right now is Earth and Theia. You and that moon have a lot more in common than you realize. You are the earth, and part of the earth is the moons former self. SCIENCE!

OMG🎉 I want to be in this class of INNOVATIVE teachers! I now understand the workings of an eclispe! Dr deGrassi is the best!! Luv the trio🎉
"When the moon covers 99% of the sun one percent sliver still remains. That's the light equivalent to 10,000 full moons." That is mind blowing. I haven't learnt this fact until now. Truly amazing.
The dad jokes are never gonna die😃
The jokes alone are eclipsing the actual science
I love how Lester just kept appearing throughout the segment.
In "83, I experienced a total eclipse... of the heart.
I'm still not over it.
Dude's always in the meta verse
There’s something special about three black men talking science on TV. Rarer than a solar eclipse.
A lot of people are afraid of eclipses. The only thing to fear is sphere itself.
just to sit down with these 3 and listen to the cipher would be top of the bucket list
Your Momma says you're so bright that's why she calls you Son! 😂😂
AL been sitting on Pun for a minute!
The energy between these 3 was great--Roger saying “that’s why he’s our anchor” was a bar
Some sick dad jokes in this one!
Great video! Shout out to Al for the comic relief!
NDT for President.
I love his enthusiasm!
This was mad chill lol
This was pure magical, profound, entertainment and comical at the same time. Genius!
Thank you for this!

What a brilliant mind...
❤❤ Wow...wake up to find this playing. Such a wonderful science treat. What a awesome trio giving great information, and just laughing up a storm together. 😆 Nothing but good vibes here. Beautiful❤I absolutely love it to the moon and beyond.
First man I thought of when thinking about the Eclipse was NDGT. This is the man!!
hahaha the ending.. i love the sentence though
Watched this to learn cool facts about the eclipse, learned the reason the Pokémon Umbreon is named that way lol
Love his enthusiasm!! 🥰🥰
good stuff
And we are active participants in the ballet, by rebelling against that force that keeps us grounded. Literally ❤
This is the best thing I've seen in awhile - the straight guy the sidekick and the star (not the sun lol)
That ending was beautiful.😢
