Additional Note : I see from downloading this, that it also contains a config file for Reaper to load in the piano note names, as a file in the download package. Not a vital thing, but really useful when not sure where the note ranges are on the piano roll, especially for those with less experience with MIDI drum programming, and a welcome touch from the author.

This is a very under-rated drum program. I use it all the time. I prefer it to the also-free Slate Drums 5.
It's especially fun to use Kenny's gated reverb technique on it to make the drums sound mega.

I'd passed over this as I always generally program my own patterns... However, as ever, Kenny has shown ways to use this in a project's workflow that I wasn't aware of previously. In this instance: the usefulness of being able to audition whole sections and so preview how different patterns could work better or worse for an associated melody without committing to a track... so now, as ever again after watching Kenny, I have less disk space and a better tool chest. :)

These, Are the drums, I always use, for ages. In my projects. They really, sound great. Kenny...haha (hugs bro). You forgot to mention to viewers that if they want the NAG screen to go away permanently if they happen to change computers or OS, they have to pay 12 dollars with Pay-Pal or Other which allows you to enter the new computer ID and receive a new code to activate the drum software without a nag screen. However, you can also simply ignore this step but you will always have to click on 'SKIP' on the first screen before you will hear any drum sound.
I love all your videos and you are seriously knowledgeable with this particular DAW. Always amazingly helpful.
I always have trouble when wanting to use the Trim Volume. I click for the little dots and when I want to angle or pull down the line, the entire line itself comes with it. Meaning, you have a volume line, you create 2 or 3 points, then pull the second one down to the bottom. But what happens is the whole damn line drops rather then the little area I want to be shaped/angled. Know what I mean Kenny? I am not sure how to properly use this feature well and manage only by fluke or by threatening I will smash it...lol.

I have MT Power Drum Kit 2 and EZDrummer2 with the latin percussion extension. For ease of use MT PDK2 is so much easier to use. I also have a Beatbuddy but I just use some of the midi patterns. I would gladly pay Manda Audio if they ever came up with additional patterns and percussion instruments. For what I do, I use MT PDK2 for about 80% of my recordings.

This one isn't quite as "free" as some of the others. You have to wait a bit and press the Skip button every time you open a project to get this to work . That may not seem like a big deal, but it gets annoying, and I got bitten by that when I opened and immediately rendered a project only to realize later that I had no drums. So I ended up sending them $10 to get rid of that. Small price to pay to get rid of that annoying skip screen, but be forewarned.
