Chain burst became my best friend in the Burning Shores. It’s especially useful to insta-kill the Bilegut. Then add multiple enemy damage coils and those water wings fall right over.
One more tip: When about to fight a group of mobs, try to approach in stealth and override a machine. This helps immensely. For example, in front of cauldron theta, override the fire claw (during daylight because it has to be non-apex), then send it to fight the nearby apex scorcher and the three glint hawks. Enjoy!
You have to get in the burning shores with one mindset: crowd control. I would ratther face a thunderjaw with just the toy bow than a mob of waterwings flying all over the place...

I still haven't started Burning Shores.... thanks for the good tips packaged in an excellent video. Nice editing, great narration, short and to the point but still explained well. Kudos. Not sure which part of YT's algorithm put you on my sidebar but I'm subscribing now.
One tip I can say is if your inflicted with status like freeze burn etc... If theres a body of water nearby just roll and dunk yourself on it to cleanse the status

These are some great tips! I’ve never used the ropecaster because I usually don’t think of it. But I’m going to try it after I figure out how to fly the waterwing sequence. So tough!
I didn't really do anything all that different than what I did in Forbidden West. But I did pick up a few coils and put them in my weapons for some slight improvements. Sadly, this DLC didn't make me very heavily want the better weapons or to upgrade them like Frozen Wilds did - which is probably an indicator of the differences in the weapon systems between Zero Dawn and Forbidden West. It also didn't help that Burning Shores really didn't introduce any really tough new creatures.
Nah! I definitely won’t be playing ultra hard and Hard mode. Thanks for the warning!!!also never saw the point of using rope caster. Instead made more sense to do status attacks. combined with high damage upgraded weapons.
I dont have a ps5 yet but i will get one very soon. One question i have, when you show your Sun Scourge hunter bow, you had 5 15% fire coils so the fire coils only boost the initial damage and the buildup or it also boosts the damage over time done by the fire?? If so, that can really increase the utility of fire in the game since its weaker then ZD
@@chazmatazzgames I'm guessing it's someone who uses low health damage, and smokebombs to stay safe. If the heal takes you out off low health, you lose all the benefits
I tried berserk on multiple occasions and it did pretty much nothing every time. They'd just stare, maybe attack something else 1 time, but mostly just.. nothing. Unlucky, i guess. In your bit about weapon coils, you say you specialize, and then continue to show a clip where you use your overdraw equipped bow and im pretty sure you never actually overdraw in it, in the clip. Also not sure i'd ever tell anyone to use fire for anything except for taking a glinthawk to the ground. Fire element is so weak in forbidden west/BS. On the upside, i did start using ropecaster and smokebombs since i started my ultra hard.
7:08 Bruh, why would you bother with fire when enemy has 2 exposed frost canisters waiting for you to trigger it ? Also, why would you use critical surge when sustained burst doesn't deal critical hit ? Clearly you don't understand how sustained burst works. This is just sad for someone who plays the game in ultra hard.

The creators really did an amazing job with their DLC content. Frozen Wilds was simply a pleasure to play. Now this. Thank you Guerilla Games

Just a tip, when using the sustained burst weapon technique, none of the bolts can crit
So the crit valor surge, and crit increasing weaves are wasted

7:15 May I ask why you used the critical boost VS for the Sustained Burst? Isnt Ranged Master the better option?
