DaneilRC Not in a classical ballerina sort of way like the Russians, but in a regal and composed way. There's more than one type of elegance and grace...
Se31298 Yea the flow in her choreography has improved drastically and she's performing more and thinking less which is making her style of movement way more pleasing to see
She really looked amazing at this competition. It's pretty crazy that she scored better at the 2015 Jesolo competition, her very first competition back, than she did at the 2012 Jesolo competition. I'm very excited to see her at classic/nationals this year. If she does what she is capable of, she could definitely take second all-around (I don't think anyone can beat Simone).
Much better dance than 2012. Her stint on Dancing with the Stars helped her. More lyrical fluid and artistic plus a better connection with the music. She's only getting better. Keep working Aly...you made great progress.
If she does it I think it would be for next season gearing up for the Olympics if she does it at all. She scored well without upgrades but maybe she'd add some more difficult dance elements in to up her score
0:30 - 0:40 I liked this WAY better than what she's now doing with the turn sequence. It gives it a little something, especially since Raisman doesn't have much choreography in her rutine 😪
This is a 6.4 SV. If she can get jumps out of her double arabian piked and her double straight, and changing her last pass to an E rated tumbling pass, she could 6.7 SV, wich is pretty close to biles
Hi there. What is this the title of the first 2/3 of her music? (I wish she did not splice in that separate piece at the end. Perhaps someone can change the ending for her.)
jyosefr I should have said the 2nd third, actually. I did not listen carefully to the first third, and missed the (more effective) splice at 0:28 where the band comes in. Where does the band bit come from?
I don't love the music cuts, wish it was just one piece or the other, but the dance is soooooo much better. What if the 2016 team is Biles, Raisman, Douglas, Ross, and Maroney?
She should work on getting back the sissone after the double piked arabian. And add another jump after de double straight, just as she had in her double pike in 2012
camaleaotupi The only thing that is similar in the routines is the tumbling, which there are a limited amount of skills in the code of points. If the choreography and/or dance elements were also the same, then we can talk "taking" routines haha
ic, i though u meant the whole routine, but still not the same tumbling pass, diane that time was doing arabian in layout on her 1st opening pass and on her 3rd pass she was doing triple twist, they got same 2nd and 4th tumbling pass :)
brahm stalker Daiane had a layout double arabian in 2004. At worlds in 2003, she had a piked double arabian, a double layout, a punch front to tuck double arabian, and a double pike. So nearly the same tumbling passes as Aly, just in a different order.
Her dance has become much more regal with a nice touch of elegance... Much improved
Se31298 elegance? hahaha

This is world class. double layout as a 3rd pass sheeh. Show down between the Olympic floor champion and the 2x world floor champion.

This freakin routine is awesome! I love it so much! It is so Aly:):)
She´s improved so much in her leaps and dance, looks more soft and flexible, great to see it.
Mausolo M That's what a little Dancing With The Stars will do to you.
I love this routine, she's my favourite american gymnast at the moment.
Aly
This routine is amazing. Aly is the greatest gymnast ever. Aly totally rocked it!!
I wonder if she could change the double pike into something more difficult like a full in back out, or maybe a triple twist. Love it!
If she does it I think it would be for next season gearing up for the Olympics if she does it at all. She scored well without upgrades but maybe she'd add some more difficult dance elements in to up her score
Amazing 6.4 SV!!! very very impressed
GymnasticsFan USA IKR... Got credited with a 16.2 in this :(
Love, love, LOVE your routine!

I agree, although she has done some pretty gorgeous double L turns (sometimes they aren't the best but when they're good, they're GOOD)
Such a great routine. Nice versatility and clean execution. I hope she stays healthy and looks to World Championships.
Kickin' ass Aly.
I love her body shape. She is beautiful.
I feel like her dance is much more graceful in this than it was in Rio. Oh well, still she is amazing!
This is Olympic's EF quality. She will compete against Biles for the gold if she keeps that way!!

Much better aly

Russian Sailors Dance from The Red Poppy; one of my favorite pieces!

It's called Kalinka and is a well know Russian folk song.
I don't love the music cuts, wish it was just one piece or the other, but the dance is soooooo much better. What if the 2016 team is Biles, Raisman, Douglas, Ross, and Maroney?

Gonçalo Duarte She'll definitely include jumps out of her passes at Classics and Nationals. This was just her first competition back.
what is it called?
she took daiane dos santos's 2003 routine and added a few things

camaleaotupi not similar at all, music and dance are totally different
Of course I meant the tumblings. Who in the world would do the exac same routine as another. Jee...

Score 15.2
Still this ugly music... Gosh
