Really can't blame any of the guys and their exhausts. GM went out of their way to really quiet the 6.2 for this generation. My gut tells me their DFM(skip fire spark system) may have something to do with it. Then who knows how restrictive those stock cats are. These are nothing like the old LS-based 6.2s.
Flow FX wins this one, 40 series is a close second. I like quiet so the Magneflow is a different kind of win. 70 series are quiet and sound great driving away too. The black tips are perfect.

Hello, I had a Cherry Bomb Salute offset / center SA2589 5x11x22 put on my 2023 GMC Sierrra 6.2L. I think it is to loud. Would the Magnaflow 12909 be quieter? Is the Magnaflow a better muffler. Thanks a lot for the info. Luv your channel
This guy went through 3 mufflers and it still sounds close to stock. Honestly if your so picky about drone don't bother upgrading your exhaust.
It's different trucks, one has black tips on the carbon edition and one has chrome.

Right at 6:39 and part of 6:40 you can hear a very high pitched tinny squeak/chirp coming from the passenger-side cat. It's common on the GMC 6.2L at 1200RPM when the cats are cool enough (cold start or cruise at 40mph). Wonder if its from weird pulse turbulence from the crossover pipe. Ever noticed it, tried solving it?

@Don Quixote just learned about this disabler on Holly.com doing research. But the muffler worked well. Very low drone in 4 cylinder mode will get the disabler and try it.
2020 man, everything's quiet anymore
best muffler for the 15 silverado, if I leave everything else on? want a louder note, but deep rumble, not aggressive note
How long do magnaflow mufflers usually last as far as the fiberglass packing material burning out?
I had to keep turning the volume up. That thing is quiet!
