The first video I watch of yours was the one where you chopped a top in record time, grinder the paint off all surfaces and then cut with no wasted time or motion. It turned out to be a perfect job. You fooled me. I thought you might be up toward the middle edge of being a genius. Now I know you’re not only a genius but have some walking around sense too. Good job
    🫵😮👍.

Trust me, I’ve been fooling the world for 50 years. I’m nothing more than a good guesser with some fancy film editing.

Have you ever thought about using a Pittsburgh hammer electric tool? For rolling that edge, just wondering if that would work.

Love the channel , and your sense of humor. Have you ever tried "butt welding clamps". They may have let you tack the panels in place still bolted together.

I actually recently purchased some hundred pound magnets that I really prefer. Work much better than clamps.

Since this one is (likely) always going to be driven with the skirts on I think the closed up front fender is a much better look, especially with the flush skirts.

The owner is thinking about it. Currently finishing the replacement skirt. With better latching

I like it closed too. The car has enough streamlining already and closing the wheel well makes the front wheel look like it is where it belongs. Closing the wheel well a bit is much easier than moving the front axle rearward.

Looks like people bring you their problems. Yup,like your addition to the front fender.
Did you cut and butt the other side?

Had a friend move a project car(early 50s pontiac)for me that i hadnt worked on for a few years, forgot that the hood was just plopped in place.Got up to speed on the highway and i watched this thing start to lift and hoover upward caught the wind stream and went into orbit.Came down nose first and smashed the chiefs face all to heck. Was real happy it didnt go through somebodys windshield,s.o.b.I can relate about the skirt.

Ummm, wonder what that chrome 155 mm shell in the middle of the steering wheel will feel like when you get rear ended and don’t have a seatbelt/shoulder restraint on.

Front should be closed up more from my view but it has to stay open to match what would be the opening without fender skirts. Good job not counting the failure to launch the barrel bolt. 😮
