The first video I watch of yours was the one where you chopped a top in record time, grinder the paint off all surfaces and then cut with no wasted time or motion. It turned out to be a perfect job. You fooled me. I thought you might be up toward the middle edge of being a genius. Now I know you’re not only a genius but have some walking around sense too. Good job 🫵😮👍.
Man, i just ran across your channel because of the fender skirts. It's very cool work you do . I really dig the old iron like you seem to have several setting around. I now have became a new subscriber to the channel, looks like i have some catching up to do. Thanks for the videos and i am looking forward to seeing the end projects. Stay cool dude.✌️
Love the channel , and your sense of humor. Have you ever tried "butt welding clamps". They may have let you tack the panels in place still bolted together.
Since this one is (likely) always going to be driven with the skirts on I think the closed up front fender is a much better look, especially with the flush skirts.
I like it closed too. The car has enough streamlining already and closing the wheel well makes the front wheel look like it is where it belongs. Closing the wheel well a bit is much easier than moving the front axle rearward.
Had a friend move a project car(early 50s pontiac)for me that i hadnt worked on for a few years, forgot that the hood was just plopped in place.Got up to speed on the highway and i watched this thing start to lift and hoover upward caught the wind stream and went into orbit.Came down nose first and smashed the chiefs face all to heck. Was real happy it didnt go through somebodys windshield,s.o.b.I can relate about the skirt.
Ummm, wonder what that chrome 155 mm shell in the middle of the steering wheel will feel like when you get rear ended and don’t have a seatbelt/shoulder restraint on.
Front should be closed up more from my view but it has to stay open to match what would be the opening without fender skirts. Good job not counting the failure to launch the barrel bolt. 😮
The front wheel well looks fine just the way it is.

Trust me, I’ve been fooling the world for 50 years. I’m nothing more than a good guesser with some fancy film editing.
TY SIR!
TY
That’s right. You can only see one side at a time. Great job as always.
Yes! Thank you!

That would be cool. Thank you
Your videos are great. Your work is great also.
Thank you very much!
Beautiful car
Have you ever thought about using a Pittsburgh hammer electric tool? For rolling that edge, just wondering if that would work.
I’ve made a few dies since then that help. We still haven’t finished them
Is nice video man working to people skills

I actually recently purchased some hundred pound magnets that I really prefer. Work much better than clamps.

The owner is thinking about it. Currently finishing the replacement skirt. With better latching

True.
Looks like people bring you their problems. Yup,like your addition to the front fender.
Did you cut and butt the other side?
Yes. And yes
That thing is fu&kin cool homies🔥 and also good man for showin the mistake, now we all learn. Subscribed. Looks like i gota few videos to catch up on.

Not fun.
GM seatbelt locks work pretty good too
Yeah that would work. I found some spring loaded ones.
Hi! I vote for your idea of closing up the front fenders a bit. Love your videos!
Noted!
And thank you
Front fender fix,read my mind,perfect I think.
He’s working on painting it currently
Ummm, wonder what that chrome 155 mm shell in the middle of the steering wheel will feel like when you get rear ended and don’t have a seatbelt/shoulder restraint on.
Probably going to hurt

I love the Look of this Car, Kinda looks like a Willy, What is it, Dodge or Chevy, And do you own this car
Not mine. It’s the owner of Draggin Classics. It’s a real Frankenstein car. Just a bunch of bits
👍🏻Nice job! How does that saying go… it’s easier the second time around…..
You got that right!
Oop's commented before watching all 😂.
Great job ❤
Thanks 😅

Whoops. I think we’ll be using bolts next.
Great project and great job! A Buick, Chevrolet, Pontiac, or a Ford Pinto Hearse would be a lot easier on you!
Probably. But a fun story is worth the work. Well that’s what I tell my self
No one is perfect...right!!!
Words to live by
Nice. Yeah Maybe that front fender does need a little facelift. Thanks for the look.
No problem 👍
Yeah!! the passenger side is the drinker side, so they will be buzzed up to notice, nice job tho.
