@@laureljohnson5948 Oh yeah, I am sorry about my error, apparently the GI bill was originally passed after World War 2 in the 40's when Jim Crow was alive and well in the South. With that said, Northern schools had integrated by the 40s, and had they moved to or applied to the North, they would have had a much easier time claiming benefits, as their black neighbors in the North historically did, with much better outcomes. They historically stayed in states that actively discriminated against them, and didn't even bother moving across state lines where people spoke the same language, to get a better life. Immigrants do so much more to achieve improvement in their (and their families) lives. I would never spend decades in a state that discriminated against me, and put limits on my kids' opportunities. I think the Vietnam war also ended around the time Redlining became illegal, so it would have been the best time for Black Veterans to claim benefits, get an education, and get on the property ladder. Unfortunately, MLK gave terrible advice and told Black people not to serve, right when benefits were available and investment was was (or was about to) majorly increase/ing. If I beat all odds and made it to another country like the United States on a boat, many countries were just turning back boats sending Jews to their deaths. Comparing the more modern black experience to ACTUAL oppression is very illuminating. There was no Jim crow border patrol to stop black families from going North to schools and workplaces that had already integrated decades before civil rights. There were no SS guards to steal all their personal property and wealth.
@Alex not quite sure why you seem to be so angry towards black Americans, but again I just want you to put the history in perspective: Nazi concentration camps lasted for approximately 13 years. American slavery lasted for over 250+ years (not including Reconstruction, Jim Crow laws...with no reparations nor lands given)
@@laureljohnson5948 You want to compare years? How about you compare casualties? In just those 13 years, how many millions of Jews died? 6+ million? Why don't you tell me what percentage of the European Jewish population was eradicated, and if they have even recovered those numbers almost a century later? How much wealth was stolen? How did the penniless survivors make a living in host countries or Israel afterwards? Were they giving up on College and waiting to collect reparations to build their community up again? Did they make claims of "systemic anti semitism and ostracization" 60 years after liberation? Do they blame the Germans for their household income? It's not just the Jewish people by the way, the Polish people never got a dime in reparations for the destruction or mass murders in their country, they also had to live under decades of oppressive communism, and still they have managed to have higher household incomes than members of the black community. Do you know the rates of single motherhood in the black community? Do you know how expensive it is to have 2 separate housing situations? 2 separate transportation situations? Instead of everyone living together in the same house and also getting the discounted family deals? The biggest factor contributing to black poverty is black culture, by a mile, by hills and valleys, not Redlining. We don't live in the 1960s. Black Americans alive today are living in the world created by their parents, not by their government 60 years ago or slave traders 200 years ago. A black child growing up under a united middle class couple with vocational skills or a college degree has a very different upbringing to a black kid stuck in low income housing with a single mother and no absentee father, or a "white" or "asian" kid in the same situation. No reparations of any kind ever happened? Maybe look up affirmative action, where dark skin color gives an automatic advantage to applicants over other applicants with equal qualification. People literally getting denied opportunity for being "white" or "not black", so that opportunity can go to someone who is "black", compulsory redistribution of opportunity and outcomes, which has provided tremendous amounts of benefits and wealth for the beneficiaries The biggest determining factor, by a long shot, is individual decision making. There is no anger, only truth.

People literally getting denied opportunity for being "white" or "not black", so that opportunity can go to someone who is "black", compulsory redistribution of opportunity and outcomes, which has provided tremendous amounts of benefits and wealth for the beneficiaries
The biggest determining factor, by a long shot, is individual decision making. There is no anger, only truth.
@@laureljohnson5948 I would like you to consider how much wealth can be gathered in a single generation. And consider how many people move states for better jobs or better weather today. Is moving oppression? Please look up the Great Migration and compare northern household incomes with southern household incomes. Then ask yourself "If I lived in a state that would separate my children from my neighbors children, in all aspects of life, like some rabid animals that everyone had to be protected from, enforced by armed police officers, would I stay and have my children in that state?"
Please answer that question
The best way I can think of to tell this story is: “Walks into, orders.” End of story.
That's racist against people who can't walk
@@_Odinn_ and also against people who cannot talk, or type an order on their phone (either because they lost their fingers in an accident, or are too poor to buy a phone).
This is one the most racist videos I've ever watched. I was absolutely offended when he mentioned he was writing a "short story". I'm short. I'll see you in court, sir.
While you are there please beware of saying something is a long story or that the defendant is telling tall tales. I'd feel very offended.
You are not short. You are vertically challenged.
😂
2:08 Huh, he predicted the Omniman meme. Not bad.
Its a fine (and very pointing) video about whats going on these times indeed.
Beside, dead funny! I love your channel! :))
The ending was racist towards the beginning, causing division.
2:07 is the moment the germans got fed up with the weimar republic.
How could I miss this for two years? It is so true.
Loved this video (like most of them!). You are definitely one of my favorite RUclipsrs! Keep up the excellent work 👍🏻. The sad truth about this video is that it’s soooo real, it reflects how people are reacting nowadays for sure....
Your videos are the most humorous. Keep doing, please, you make us laugh sincerely!
"I'm gonna write my first S̷h̷o̷r̷t̷ s̷t̷o̷r̷y̷"
This pretty much sums up the concept of "sensitivity readers" that are all the rage these days.
Fun fact: fungi are eukaryotes, making them more closely related to humans than plants or bacteria.
Finally someone who knows this 😀
Whoever said Germans don't have a sense of humour was bloody lying! 🤣🤣🤣 This is excellent!
Top 10.most accurate RUclips videos.
It is comforting to see that the virus isn’t just in America, and England.
Why I just learned about your channel today? xD it's gold
Writing a small story in Prenzlauer Berg, Mitte or Friedrichshain, ah so nice
This explains my deep disdain for peoples hyper sensitive appropriations
The fact that real racist people are on loose hearting and destroying lives while most ppl focus on unnecessary things that offends no one... But still racism, sexism, homophobia and especially transphobia (this one is widespread)
“You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you..."

An entity changes it's whereabouts
That's racist towards entities that don't change their whereabouts!
I never heard a story of Homo sapiens or animal walking into bar😂
"Gender race" and "racist against God" 😂😂
lol , this is the tragedy of our modern western culture and the fact that the video seems located in the "heimat" of the political correctness make it even more funny
I found your channel when I was looking for the german pronunciation of Berghain for a video I did. Then I stayed and binged basically the entire channel!
From a recently arrived expat in Berlin, love your videos!
So glad! 😁Welcome aboard and in Berlin! Good luck with the Berghain video!
I love your channel keep up the great stuff!
As a brazillian I can say this video represents our twitter/facebook.

I am still thinking about that poor laptop you just smashed. :(

@@RadicalLiving thank you Mr German man
@@RadicalLiving if you didn't need it you could have donated it to someone in need. With the pandemic there are a lot of children that can't gain access to education because they do not have the means to follow classes online (no computer in the household, no stable internet connection, etc.)

I am very tired as a normal person because of the sjw community. In the past, I sincerely defended the rights of lgbt, women and nature. Because of the sjw community, I don't care about these issues anymore...
I'ts a pity that those people scared you away from that. I met some people who were trans or women or homosexuals who didn't like those people. Unfortunately I think they won't get it ever cause they so much cought in there ideology😐
You don’t have enough diversity in this video 😅
At sometime something happened which resulted in some other thing altering its location to another place.
Somebody called me racist because I said" i didn't like Beyonce's last album and i miss her Sasha and 4 eras .She doesn't give us ballads anymore ."

So far, I have met a handful of people in real life who complained about language police.
So far, I have met zero people in real life who were policing language.
Perhaps it's a city - countryside thing.
I think it is. I lived most of my life in a village and you could say whatever you wanted there and then I started going to university in a city and students there were really this sjw type of person. (At least in the humanities, dont know abt the other faculties)
This is so accurate now
