I KNOW YOU ALL HAVE WEED! JUST ADMIT IT! 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿
No I have not I am 15 and I hate everyone who smokes even if it are sigerats it’s fucking discussting
As an Albanian i have to sayyy....No, i don't have. Sorry to disappoint 🤭🤷🏻♀️
you can carry more in germany nowadays ^^
I don't have weed but I have 2500 kg of crystal meth worth almost 2 billion
@@tesivora9214 As a Greek i am deeply disappointed
There was just one cyclist in whole of Islamabad city who was a Dutch and some embassy employee. He was so adamant on using his cycle that he was a novelty there. The novelty broke when the German ambassador Bernhard Schlagheck also decided to ride a bike in Islamabad streets. You do not usually care who any ambassador is of which country, but those two are always remembered as "The Ones"..
Hahahaha amazing, thanks for sharing this! 😄
hahahahah, this is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The guts to stand out is something to respect 👍
This is amazing 😁
Amazing story
I love how Radical Living portrays himself as the “normal” one whenever he has a foreign guest 😂
I'm the ONLY normal around here!!!
To be honest, he comes off as the weird one here speaking as a Dutchie hahaha
Normal in Germany perhaps. Lol
@@RadicalLiving In Berlin? Entirely credible.
I want to see a Parisian in Berlin😊
I think it is so funny how she is offended because of the "weed stereotype" for most of the video and then casually pulls out a bag of mushrooms 😆
true story^^
@@RadicalLiving that makes it even better
Wow this video look almost quaint compared to what you can get in Oregon
I've never done weed, but I have done schrooms.
Mon Dieu
Let’s not lie to our Dutch neighbours,
German parents on a road trip consider bread with cheese real lunch.
or Abendbrot
THAT IS SO DAMN REAL
I've been to Berlin, and those bike lanes there are very confusing for us Dutchies! 100% accurate video!
They are disguised as sidewalks, only Germans know that they're bike lanes.
What exactly is confusing about them? I would love to visit Berlin, so I'd like to be prepared 🤗
@@MerryMoss I'm used to instantly recognizable bike lanes: eighter by signs or by red asphalt. We didn't see any of these visual cues. The only indication that we were walking on a bike lane was the near collision with bikers. To us, these just looked like pavements. I can't describe them any further, and that is exactly the problem. Enjoy your stay in Berlin, Merry, despite the not-so-helpful reply from me.
@@TerryVogelaar haha, this was clear enough tho 😄 thank you!
I'm Scottish. I visited Munster as a young teen in 1983. Unless my memory is wrong, I thought I remember the cycle lanes being yellow?
This is hilarious 😂. All cliches in one video, I love it. Proud to be Dutch...
Including those white leggings she was wearing. I think Dutch people are famous for wearing these. A lot don't look as good in them as your friend.
What is she saying at 1-50? Something in Dutch
@@virgiliuvieru3005 "Hier kan ik helemaal niets mee, dit gaat me te ver." means: I can't do anything with this at all, this is going too far for me.
@@CrownRider Thank you!
The cycling thing was literally me when I was on exchange to a Hungarian family. We needed to go to the main town in the area that was 10km away, the bus took more than an hour to arrive, her parents weren't there to drive us. So my immediate instinct was to just cycle to it as they did have bicycles. She looked at me like I was crazy, but after some convincing we did cycle there. But then I knew why they didn't, most uncomfortable cycling environment when 5km of it the only way was to drive along the shoulder of an 80km/h road. Then it hit me it was a luxury you can safely cycle everywhere in the Netherlands
It's not a luxury. It's a shame you can't safely cycle everywhere.
"You don't like cycling?!" Her face says it all. Great video as usual!
Who doesn't 😱🤯
This was so good! I love me some Dutch representation 😉
The lunch thing is also pretty damn accurate. And damn, I didn't know you could do a bunch of free stuff in Berlin on your birthday! Maybe I'll come visit this August 😜
Hahaha you can download the list on her video description^^
But Germans eat their bread all the time too instead of normal food
It‘s Germany in general - a lot of businesses are generous on your birthday 😊
@@Myladyinred999 That's really lovely 😊
*Cheap Dutch breaks cent in half to give back exact change* Compulsive, neurotic, meticulous German: Hey!!! Your half cent is bigger than mine!!
The bike lane from hell 🤣
The funny thing is, the bill paying thing, we call it going Dutch when each pays for his own.
Yeah it even made it's way to Japan, when you order the bill on the tablet you can select pay "together" or "dutch" 😅
@@RadicalLiving and now I understand why it’s called that.
@@RadicalLiving In Japan, the Dutch were the only allowed foreigners for centuries on a little island to the shore. So more or less everything non-Japanese was Dutch :)
@@RadicalLiving Funny, when I moved from Holland to Austria, 'getrennt zahlen' actually gave me quite a shock😅 Not only as a customer, but I worked in both countries as a waitress and never heard of that in Holland....
@@RadicalLiving And not even mentioning the possibility for someone to pay the bill and then split it and sent everyone a Tikkie (app to ask people to pay money back).
Having worked with some INCREDIBLE German and Dutch people for years, this presentation was so much fun!!!!! Totally LOL!!! The bikes! The cheese sandwiches! NO BIKE LANE?!!!!!!! So much fun this video! Warm wishes from Northern California 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
OMG, I am Dutch, and this is so true!😂😂😂
klopt 100%
@Lilygirl283 Can you translate what she said when she was swearing in Dutch please?
@@crose7412 "Hier kan ik he-le-maal niets mee": I can't do sh$t with this.
"Dit gaat me te ver": This goes beyond me. (we kept it very polite)
I love The Netherlands. So looking forward to getting back. There's jokes about the Dutch being stingy with money. How was copper wire invented? A Dutchman and a Scotsman were arguing over a penny. Neither would let go, and pulled it until it stretched.
Hahahaha!!! That one's new to me, thanks for sharing 😄
I didn't know Scottish people were stingy. I would've thought a Jew made more sense, because that's the version I heard growing up.
This is a joke about two Jews
This dutch accent! Simply adorable!
Oddly enough, it is an accent that I somehow never quite recognize in real life when I hear it. I'm a native English speaker (and also speak German and French, plus Italian at the level of a demented 5 year old.), so you'd think I would recogniz the sounds of a Dutch person speaking English. But ... Nope!
However, the Dutch language is like a fun fair of sounds to my ears. The hard consonants, the words that sound like English or Old English, the German-like grammar and verbs, not to mention the distinct sensation that a Dutch-speaker may be trying to cough up a hairball like a cat. Such a joy.
I practiced my whole life 💁🏻♀
@@RobespierreThePoof HAHAHAH. I'm adding that one to my go-to phrase book when explaining how to pronounce words ("distinct sensation of trying to cough up a hairball") 😅
splitting cents was funny, but complaining about the size different in the cent pieces, that was hilarious!
And accurate.
For damaged banknotes you need at least more than 50% of the original note to get it replaced at the bank. Maybe it's the same for coins, idk
In the US they used to call it “Going Dutch” when paying separately on a date.
It os alsoba german thing
@@inotoni6148 no, not extreme like in the video.
"Do it or I'm gonna steal your bike" killed me. LOL
surprising that it wasn't said by someone from Eastern Europe.
@@aleksanderapinski8720 funny thing is in the Netherlands the ones who have the "bike stealing" reputation is the Germans, like a neighbour country running gag, just like Germans have the same thing about Poles stealing their cars.
@@ivanmacgar6447 or like Germans having reputation of Nazis in Poland
@@ivanmacgar6447 allways goes east. The dutch just have the problem that fish don't have bikes to steal, otherwise they would ride fishbikes. Edit: i gess in limburg they could technical steal from belgium if we say that's a real country.
@@ivanmacgar6447That is not true, there are no germans in the netherlands😂
One thing I LOVE doing when visiting NL is cycling. Compared to bike lanes here in Belgrade that is heaven. Not to mention HORSE paths in parks, even in Amsterdam. And also train travel. Wonderful country.
I'm forever spoiled and expect other countries to offer the same regarding bike lanes 🙈 In the UK, you risk your life cycling on the white line at the edge of the road where cars speed past you with 50 miles (there's no other way to bike around between smaller towns)
@@DENADAGRACIA that is rly awful. In Belgrade people also drive like maniacs. Luckily New Belgrade has bike lanes. They are not as good as NL ones. 😅
"Oh no it's that black face day again? I thought you guys cancelled that festival"
"This is just my face mask"
Jesus that's some amazing writing

The two different accents were fascinating to listen to. Very funny. Enjoyed this one 👍
As a Norwegian, I need to see a video of the Norwegians in Germany. Seeing Denmark and Sweden would be funny too :)
Dane here. It will be like the Scandinavian arriving on the German guy's birthday, but the German guy does not know that the Scandinavian knows about it, and then the Scandinavian stars waving the German flag and singing "Happy birthday!" and the German guy freezes in fear of seeing the German flag being waved and runs away to commit metaphorical hara kiri. xD

As someone from a Dutch immigrant background in the New World, I have an irrational loyalty to the Netherlands despite not really having much in common with the modern Dutch culture. All that to say nice video and Oranje boven!
03:50 Lol... I once had such a friend. No matter how much things cost she insisted on the change. Embarrissing in restaurants and extremely annoying in private... And breaking the cent was hilarious. "You don't learn this in kindergarten?" Thanks for the fun!🍒
It has two sides. One, you don't lose your money, everything's a loan. On the other hand, it's kinda ridiculous when you're out for coffee with a friend and they ask "hey how about giving me that 10 cents you owe me" 🫠
My husband is Dutch and this is pretty spot on
I think I'm dutch actually😅😂, great video❤
I actually did get my bike ripped off in Amsterdam. Outside the HEMA on Jodenbreesstraat, and pouff. Gone. Instinct said, go to the Waterlooplein nearby, and sure enough there it was being sat on by the thief. Close enough, I tipped him over and grabbed my bike. The North African (oops, sorry. Did I really say that? I mean the thief) yeah, the thief had a long coat on so you knew he had bolt cutters inside it but--typically -- no cops were there when you need them. Anyway I got my bike back.
So stereotype 👍👍I love it.🧡🇳🇱🇩🇪
Great stuff!! 😂 It’s funny ‘cause it’s sooo very accurate 😆
"I knew you had some on you!! 😮" 😂 great video, you both were hilarious!!
Gotta confirm the stereotype 🤫
Standing at the edge of Aachen to the border of the Netherlands you can see VERY clearly who has invested in bicycle paths. It’s a different world.
Invested? Thousands of miles of groundwork, culverts, design and engineering, aggregates transport, quarrying and tarmac laying with huge machinery and it's supposedly eco- friendly? Hahaha
@@gurglejug627 it’s easy to criticize. What do you suggest as an alternative, the status quo? Investing a fortune in German roads so you can drive like Schumacher? In the Netherlands you can safely go anywhere without a car.
@@scarba it's easy to overcompliment as well, and many people are happy with green gloss and Emperor's new clothes theories. If you think it's an investment, well, I'd say there are 100 ways to skin a monkey but I wouldn't have chosen that word. How about less immigration and so quieter roads? I live in Scandinavia and our best asset has always been low population, now suddenly wrecked by do-gooders and joining the EU and fast be becoming the same overcrowded, crime ridden pit as the rest of Europe. I note our sudden influx of Dutch people who are "escaping overcrowding, overpricing and gang culture in the Netherlands". Oh and by the way, if you known how Swedish roads (and Polish) were designed until the EU ruled on their idiotic standard being implemented, you'd know they had a slow lane built in - great for cycling, slow vehicles, farmers, lessening stress, preventing stoppages and usable for everyone = far more efficient and sustainable and infrastructurally beneficial, though I'll grant you not as pleasant as isolated cycle paths.
@gurglejug627 It's way more eco friendly compared to car infrastructure.
@@worldeconomicfella3228 that's a nonsensical argument - it depends how many people use it, how often and for what. I haven't seen anything approaching a hundredth of the use it would need to justify such works. It's green gloss, start to finish. But it looks nice.
That’s awesome, if there was a video with Austrians in Germany you can count me in
In the end, Gabber brings everyone together 😂❤
Really accurate, I love it :D
I also bring a folding bike on holidays so I don't have to use public transport.
All the plastic bags! xD tbh I bring a lunchbox so I don't have to buy plastic bags, saving even more!
Shrooms > weed is the way to go as well, she knows!
Considered some tupperware, but a plain ole plastic bag would be more believable. Smart, the folding bike! It's so much nicer to bike around vs. sit in a bus, especially when visiting the mountains
Love it. Charming. Well done!
Thanks Linda 😊🙏
In NL 1-2 euro cent coins don't even exist, we make fun of ze zermans for using them

The cycling part is kind of specific for large cities in Germany. People smaller and medium towns in northern Germany LOVE cycling.
Similar with tipping, very uncommon where I live. I usually don't tip and I thought it was an exclusively American thing until I met my girlfriend from Hamburg.
i know a british dutch girl. she's just like this 🤣🤣🤣
The moment one knows DUTCH AND GERMANs share pretty common customs and have quite of a similar accent😊

Not, if you come from Bavaria.
You got it all wrong. In Berlin - we walk. It's much too expensive to hire a bike. And yes, I know very well how big Berlin is. That's why I advise Dutch people to get some good walking shoes.
When I introduced my girlfriend to Berlin, I told her we would do all sightseeing in one day.
We started at Kudamm. We walked to Breitscheidplatz (Hohler Zahn, Wasserklops), then Bahnhof Zoo (Christiane F), then walked into Tiergarten, all over Charlottenburger Chaussee, brief detour at Bellevue, Das Goldene Mädchen, Reichstag, Brandenburger Tor, brief detour Checkpoint Charlie, Alter Fritz, Schlossbrücke, Berliner Dom, "Knabbel en Babbel Platz" (aka Marx-Engels), Neptunbrunnen, Telespargel und Alex.
You know how much we saved on Sightseeing busses? Added bonus - she slept very well that night.
*Edit:* since people are taking this as a guide to get acquainted with Berlin - the trickiest part of the route is the transfer from Bhf. Zoo to Tiergarten. The best way is to pass a little known route, which will take you across "Das Schleuschen" (nahe "Untere Freiarchenbrücke").
Sure you're not secretly German with so much hiking 🤪? Thanks for sharing that elaborate hiking route!
my girlfriend is visiting Berlin for the first time in July. Useful plan!
Why hire a bike when you can own one?

I remember when I was on a spontaneous trip where a dutch guy gave me few coins which I needed , I think to buy a ticket.
I thought was an act of kindness, but at the end of the trip when I had to leave he asked me those coins to the cent xD
On that moment I took it kind of personal lol xD Because I wouldn't ask few coins if I was in his shoes, but yeah now I understand is a cultural thing xD

My 83 yr old South Indian Mother told me a funny story about her first encounter with a Dutch Nun/ Nurse in North India. My Mother was studying nursing and had to share a room with this Dutch Nurse. My Mom never saw the Dutch roommate brush her teeth and was wondering how this lady cleaned her teeth. So my Mom asked and roommate told her she was using my mom’s toothbrush the past 3 months. My Mother nearly died. This was 60 yrs ago. Dutch are cheaper than most Indians! 😆
Dutch people upholding our rep tightly everywhere 😅 Was it in the Netherlands or abroad?
On vacation I let things hang loose more. And verbally state upfront, "hey I can lend you the money" Or just say "here I can pay" where the latter means, you don't have to pay me back. So everyone's on the same page
@@alicejohn7316 Well damn... 😳 Toothbrushes are a private item not to be shared 😅 Yep, very cheap🙈
