What's so amazing about Daron and Serj - they're equally as different as Jerry and Layne from Alice In Chains... two completely different voices yet when they harmonize, It's sometimes so difficult (on the album recordings especially) who is singing which part.. Strange how opposite frequencies work so well together. Alice In Chains did it first of course, and this band is one of the best of all time... I'm just pointing out the coincidental similarities. When they sing in 3rds or 5ths, it sounds so beautiful sometimes.
Idk man I could always clearly distinguish between Surge and Daron v.s. Lane and Jerry that is quite a bit more difficult to distinguish though Lane always had a vibrato that was all over the place and kind of no holds barred. Daron always does the higher more airy vocals v.s. Surge the majority of the time holding down the lower and mid ranges when they harmonize ( Radio, chop suey... just about every song ). So idk what in the hell you are talking about but I do appreciate both bands.
I wish these guys would put out a new album/tour already!! If they could put their differences aside and come up with something genuine, that would be amazing
