after i installed cbf my wave skill increased drastically since it was so much more precise and i was able to beat my first hard demon, nine circles
Using cbf for the first time I beat Nine Circles in like 20 atts (And died at the end twice)

I think click between frames is simply an early access mod which you can play with click between frames early, I think it will be inevitably added in the future, 2.21 perhaps.
I think most top players use click between frames most of the time and click between frames isn’t really useful or has a noticeable different unless you are playing levels like slaughterhouse. So I think click between frames should be allowed in the community, top players SHOULD NOT get crap from the community because they want the game to play better.
In conclusion, I think that click between frames should be allowed, especially if you are the playing levels with extreme timings like grief.

Its truly mostly up to Robtop if this should be apart of the game, my opinion on it is that cbf is a good thing to a certain extent to fix issues with the competition between people that cant run the game at the same level as other people with higher end pc's, making it fair for someone who can run at 60 fps and some one at 240 or 360 fps.
I use click between frames, and I am going for bloodbath. At first, without it, I couldn't get to the mini ship, and now with cbf I almost got to crack!
I still don’t get what clicking between frames means. My brain is too simple to understand pls explain someone
@FecalPuffs so basically 🤓, on 60 fps you have 60 frames to click on, so the max is 60 clicks in 1 second, and 144 is the same but with 144 clicks. Click between frames makes it have no cool down and you can click whenever you want

im not really into the situation, but what i can say is that i dont want the game to be very carried by external mods such as this one. This feels like using Optifine in Minecraft, most people dont mind it, but if you think about it, its not something that is actually in vanilla.

This is actually huge news for me. I can finally progress much faster on demonlist levels!
In the end, this mod is just that, a mod, which affects your build of Geometry Dash you have installed and therefore makes it not the _real_ Geometry Dash

@@splaceokI don’t remember a time where speedhack and noclip were allowed on the demonlist. Maybe sometime in the future with the way mods are being handled rn. FPS bypass was allowed so you didn’t have to fork over hundreds of dollars for an expensive monitor that ran at 360Hz. CBF modifies the game for no reason other than “it’s cool cause the game is easier now”. If EVERYONE had it, it would be great. But not everyone does, so it’s cheating.

The way it works is that it divides a frame into 2 smaller frames and registers the click in those smaller frames.

i think it’s ridiculous, if its added for hackers it shouldnt be allowed in vanilla gd, i dont wanna download hack apps but it seems like at this point its just giving an unfair advantage for the rest of the players, its so ridiculous and definitely should be banned until its in the official game, rob added noclip, hitboxes and speedhacking to an extent i wouldn’t be suprised if he did end up adding cbf, which if he did THAT would be fair game, but the fact that its only a feature for hackers and thats pretty stupid, maybe some of us want these features without hacking, i know i dont wanna hack, i used to use the icon hack and it just takes the fun outta the game to be real, but w the other things ima prolly have to and thats fucked up, ion understand why the demonlist cant just wait till somethings official
I love cbf. I dont understand how its considered hacking cuz its basically just like fps bypass. Its basically just adding more time to click. You still have to have so much skill to beat these levels
I my opinion I think cbf is good because when I installed it I Improved so much at the game, and I managed to beat my first extreme demon in 5 days which is impressive for my standard.
when i got the mod i didn't feel a change in the other gamemodes except for the wave. i felt like zoink but on 60 hz
imo cbf is a good change. its fixing smth incomplete so it should be allowed

I think maybe they should add a little tag to levels that were verified with cbf in the demonlist and maybe do the same to players who primarily use it

I def support it but I think its a good idea to wait to use it. Like when the average player gets into harder territory, like higher list demons that’s going to help you get through it better almost like an instant skill boost. Kinda like 2.1 when people switch from 60hz to 360hz and just become gods. But imo, you def don’t need it if you are only beating like hard demons and not using it will most likely help in the long term.

Honestly i dont find this much different than when they allowed for higher fps which locked a lot of the levels behind a paywalls. Like this is free and much more accessible i think it was a fine decision.
Although i think we shouldn't have things happen where gameplay when it becomes purly dependant on cbf. Or basically making levels with jumps impossible without cbs. Should have them possible in vanilla too.

I want Click Between Frames in Geometry Dash. I play on iPhone, so I don't have access to Geode. So, GD is harder on mobile because you get way higher frames on PC, but with Click Between Frames, I can finally make some demon progress.
The only reason I'm against it is because I'm on Mac so I'm biased
there’s a good alternative called click on steps
I don't think cbf vs non-cbf completions should have the same value, but I still think cbf is a fun way to test out the top players (tidal wave but a tiny bit easier is still tidal wave). The best way to balance things out in my opinion is to tag "cbf" completions and differentiate them from "non-cbf" ones, so the players who worked harder for the frame perfect clicks get maybe more recognised, plus we don't remove a fun mod for the other top players, who get also recognised from still beating top extreme demons
at this point, im actually trying to beat sca with cbf, and, im making some really progress, and at this point i think ill actually be able to beat it before its official verification (my hardest is B incase you’re wondering)

The fact players on pc already have an advantage over mobile players with more fps on demon levels is already enough, it's like a punch in the gut with cbf being only available to pc players
as a mobile player, I don't agree. It ain't their fault if mobile doesn't allow for it, and people who play on mobile acknowledge they don't have access to those type of mods. The progression of skill in the community should be prioritized.

@@TheElderWerelionwolfthat's an interesting question. but i think the demonlist forgot to mention something. they said Completions with cbf are allowed, but they never said verifications. and robtop unrated an extreme demon before for being verified with cbf. so i think only COMPLETIONS with cbf are allowed by the demonlist, NOT VERIFICATIONS.
and even then, ain't no one beating something like tidal wave on mobile lol. but yeah i understand the concern. i think cbf should just be officially added to the game completely. as for mobile players, again you ain't ever beating a top 1 on mobile, and i think mobile devices already have lower input detection rate than most computer mice. so i wouldn't really worry about that. i think it might be possible to get cbf working on mobile devices.

cbf should probably be allowed, like it’s gonna end up being added by robtop at some point due to the community wanting it. the poll the demon list posted ended up having 86% of people wanting cbf for it, so I wouldn’t doubt it would be added in an upcoming update, maybe 2.3
