So the Uncle claims she calls to ask to stay, then calls back and says dw i met some random guy so im moving to Florida with him. Then changes the story to say no actually she knocked on my door but i wasn't there and my wife didn't know who she was... That's a pretty big difference dude. Big time this guy needs investigating.
I went to school with her . Thankful they finally got her on TV to be found. Praying she is alive wherever she is

Was this uncle biological or a relative of the adoptive parent? It is interesting, if true, that she has only called or shown up to this particular persons home instead of her sister. I'd be interested in investigating him. Did he volunteer the info to police or family? Or did he inform them through investigation? Ugh
The uncle is bio. Her adopted mom did not have a brother, just an aunt or Sam's great aunt.

Yes, too strange how the uncle claims she contacted him. If she was still alive and wanted to contact a family member, it would definitely be ve her sister.Also someone else could have staged her takimg clothes and leaving cigarrette butts at the house! 🙄 LE will hopefully look into Sams uncle, mother, grandparents as I think they are involved in her disappearance sadly 😔

@@Katiekay. Her sister was living with her boyfriend's family. She told Sam they would sort out where she could stay the next day. Sam and her sister were close, she would have definitely contacted her sister rather than the uncle

I personally think Samantha isn't here anymore. Is the uncle a suspect? Very strange the story changed *soo drastically.* Extremely suspicious. Seems like a play to make it appear like she's still around so no one looks into this as a homicide... but maybe I've watched 1 too many homicide cases...
Is the uncle biological? Is the uncle covering for the "parents"? Was he ever fully investigated? Did they do a search of his house and property? Maybe do ground penetrating radar around his property & the "parents" property as well. And use cadavar dogs.
It doesn't seem like there were any real valid contacts from her after she disappeared. I would DEF assume any of those "contacts" from "her" reaching out to whoever (like the uncle) weren't actually her.
This DEF should be looked into as a homicide though after all these years...
I was a runaway, I ran away a ton of times. You're not going to think you're "in trouble" for something like that, especially bc it happened way back then, and especially now as an adult and understanding things better. That makes no sense. And I would NEVER stop speaking to my sister. My sister was and is the closest person to me. SHE would be who I would contact.

The age progression photo is not a good one. It looks exactly like Drew Barrymore. The girl doesn’t even remotely resemble Drew. That needs to be revisited again.

What a rocky start Samantha had in life. It sounds like she had pretty typical dreams for a teen - to sing, to become a vet - and that she was working hard to do well in school. All anyone wants at that age is to belong - to get to know yourself and settle on some goals and dreams; to be loved, and to feel worthy of that love. For many young women, it's all too easy to get lured-in by some shady guy who makes them feel special. Common things being common? I'd guess this lovely and lost young woman caught the eye of some creep. I hope I'm wrong.
