you're absolutely right. the the Tim Ripper Owens Judas Priest stuff is great. Jugulator is my favorite Judas priest album of all time. and deserves a lot more respect. I Personally prefer Ripper Owens over Rob Halford. don't get me wrong I do like some of the Judas Priest albums with Rob but Ripper Owens just makes Judas Priest sound and feel so much more heavy, brutal and badass.
Your ears are *broken* if you listen to Jugulator and come away from it thinking that Tim Owens is a "clone" of Rob Halford... ...as if that's a bash to his talent at all.
While not without its flaws this album is still about a 7/10. The problem with it is that there’s an “ambient” intro to every damn song and they should have stayed in E standard tuning. BUT Cathedral Spires is an absolute classic!

I actually like Jugulator. But it's not perfect. Some of the intros could be cut.
