Love this .Used to live in Grand Cayman for years .Moved back to Chicoutiumi,Quebec ,I love it here, but sometimes, I get the homesick blues for my little hideaway or tropical corner of paradise .Sometimes I really miss the life ,I used to have in the Cayman Isles .
Gorgeous place to vacation. Very inspirational. Very informative. My hubby & I will be there next year August 2017 7 nights/8 days for a long awaited, well deserved honeymoon after being married for (7) years- don't ask it's a long story. I will keep in my mind of most of the places you visited. We will try to tour the entire island 3 times over. You did a Great job! Keep going with your videos, don't stop. They're great!
Don’t take starfish out of water! There’s signs everywhere asking that if you’re taking a picture you can lift them up while in the water, never letter them exit the water.
There is still so much more to do in Cayman, you didn't go snorkeling or diving, you didn't go to the mastic trail or even to the crystal caves, you didn't go to "hell" or the turtle farm and you didn't even go to stingray city. But, still a great video. Also btw the starfish thing is fine, as long as you only held them out of the water for no longer than 20 seconds you're fine, there simply aren't enough tourists at starfish point to kill a starfish from leaving it out the water.
Is the Pier at :49 located at Old Man Bay? We are staying on the northside next month and the snorkeling at Old Man Bay at the reef is supposed to be great. Any other suggestions for snorkeling from shore?
Well ok video. you missed allot more things to do on the island. Like the turtle farm, Georgetown, sting ray city, luminescence bay, and other attractions. And of course you can take a picture with the star fish you cannot lift them out of the water just to the surface they are very delicate and the Cayman tourists industry depends on that beach your lucky the police didn’t see you or a local they would have been very upset not to mention the fine you would have gotten. The Caymans protect there natural resources and definitely enforce the rules. Next time you go you should charter a boat to see some of Caymans natural wonders. Try BigLex Charters it’s my favorite.
Very nice video! :-) How much were the mudslides? Did they take American $$ ? How was the water on Seven Mile Beach? Did you swim in it? Was it rocky on the bottom?
Thank you for this great video! My partner and I are immigrating here end of the year and this video definitely relieved some of the tension I have about the move😁😁
+Wanderlust Girl Yes, I'm lucky my parents have a house in Santo Domingo. Almost every other year I try to go. The culture is spanish instead of British. It's unlike any island in the Caribbean. It's huge and so much to see and do. Highly recommended. It will be a big plus if you are there with someone who knows the island.
I just want to say - A well explained video! Cayman is such a nice country which has beautiful localities, beaches, and tourist attractions like turtle farm, seven mile beach and many more. I attended my cousin brother's wedding reception at Grand old house www.grandoldhouse.com/weddings and that time I had an opportunity to explore the Cayman Islands - the land of Paradise. Thank you for sharing this video.
Great video! Thanks so much for sharing, my family and I are planning on going next year on a cruise to Grand Cayman, Montego Bay Jamaica and Cozumel. So if you have any info on the other two places it would be awesome!!
Thank you for watching! I have only gone to GC and Cozumel from your list. Cozumel is very pretty as well. In Mexico I would deff recommend Tulum if you ever get a chance.
I was just wondering are you Hispanic and what made you decide to go to the cayman islands . though I live in america I was born in the Caribbean islands of trinidad and tobago . since I've lived in america I haven't found anyone who knows anything about the caribbean or even where it is and I don't think much Americans go there even tho it's so close to america .is that true ? or do alot of Americans go there ?
Thank you for watching Robie! And I'm latina ( Brazilian) , but live in the USA. I did see a lot of Americans there, especially who went there by a cruise ship.
If you've been there recently way too much traffic too many cars on the road and you cannot call in from anywhere in the world you have to use what's up so what is that garbage about

Good video, don't miss Stingray City or Camana Bay and don't take the starfish out of the water at starfish point.
Did you visit Little Cayman too . When I visited I stayed at Buccaneers Inn. Joined merchant ship. Lovely Video . Thanks
Very nice video! :-) How much were the mudslides? Did they take American $$ ? How was the water on Seven Mile Beach? Did you swim in it? Was it rocky on the bottom?
Thank you! I believe they were around $8. Yes, they take american money. Water is pretty warm and I did swim in it. No, it was not rocky bottom. :)
Thank you for this great video! My partner and I are immigrating here end of the year and this video definitely relieved some of the tension I have about the move😁😁

The starfish point, is it too far away from George Town and Seven Mile Beach?
a little. You deff need a car to get there.
what rental car agency did you use? was it pretty easy to rent?
I rented the car from the lady that I stayed at her Airbnb. She charged me $25 per day.
I have been to all those places, great video
Thank you!

I didn't see much of a nightlife there, but rum tour is a must go!
Check out Royal Palms, Calico Jacks and Whiskey Mist
Braden Grimsley we're not really a partying island. We have one nightclub. Royal palms is probably the best place to go for a vibrant scene
