Not underrated? Lars is always given crap about his drumming, even though his drum parts (especially on Puppets and Justice) are perfect for the song and fit where it's needed.
@@Delusionalninersfan36485 does “back then”, especially when talking about an MoP track not make it obvious to you that we meant BACK THEN lol? 😂 as in pre st-anger ?

The riffs and accents are quite odd. This is truly a unique song in many respects. The only criticism I would have is the bass tone sounds muffled, a little more brightness to accentuate the finger attack would have made this pop out more. Lars did a fantastic job here…
Metallica were never the same after Cliff. Justice was a good album, but they muted Jason sadly. Seattle '89 live is the last time Metallica were any good to me.
No digas mamadas bro, Cliff Marco una época Épica en Metallica, Jason marco otra época Épica, pero en el AJF joder hubiese quedado epico ese álbum y el hdlv de Lars no lo hubiera silenciado 🫡🫣😎❤️
Say what you want, Lars was killer back then and unique too
He is not underrated he just is not as bad as people say he is. (Aside from st. Anger, that was atrocious)

Does St Anger not exist to you?

That's just the sound of the old Messa tube amps. More warm than bright.
progressive thrash metal
Cool that they kept the guitar intro

Is this actual studio version or just another cover?
Actual version
Is that his Rickenbacker? or the Aria II?
and people still wonder why lars muted jason on justice...
if you've ever heard the isolated bass tracks you'd understand how badly they fucked up by muting them
