its great to do this update. I actually love cycling carbs. I do carnivore, I love it, but there comes a time when you just dont love it anymore and your workouts suffer. Then I mix in carbs, I absolutely love it again! and then that goes for maybe 8 weeks and I feel slow and dont really enjoy it. I chop back to carnivore and I absolutely love it again. The sleeps, the mental clarity, ill drop a few kg and feel really fresh. I love not being in a diet "tribe" and just using each diet to let it feel fresh and new for me.
Marcus, kudos. This is what the fitness community is actually missing - a candid look at how other people live. Its often hard to imagine how a different way of living could look like. Love your content, please keep up this level of candour!
A number of my friends told me that there was no way I was eating as much as I thought (about 3500) once I started working out more consistently and was still losing weight and feeling tired, so it made me start tracking calories, protein, and my weight to confirm. Absolutely confirmed that I need more than that or I'm getting tired and feel pretty drained. 34 years old, 6'2, 170lbs-ish and also got a Fitbit to find out that I am usually walking 15-20k steps a day along with 4 strength workouts per week, and a good bit of general physical activity throughout each day. Thanks for all your videos and straightforward approach to this stuff. I'm able to eat a ton of protein each meal with generally healthy ingredients and not many of them (other than spices and such). And I can always feel good about walking to get a giant ice cream cone now and then and know that I crushed the rest of my day.
I'm in a similar boat, similar age, feels good aye? Nothing like eating a raw honey sandwich and feeling good about it haha. The concept of g-flux goes hard, makes getting lean easier as well. Maintaining around 4000 calories and going into a deficit at 3500 is a lot easier/ sustainable then going from 2500 to 2000
This was awesome! I think what would be awesome is to walk through or white board a typical macro calculator with average weight and body fat percentage and how different goals can impact the outcomes. Using concrete numbers would be great taking into account things like energy spent as well as consumed. Thanks, Marcus!
You look amazing Marcus - better than you did, on the low carb diet. You obviously have a high metabolic rate. I messed mine up years ago and have never regained it.
I am going through the same, I was in a deficit for too long, now I am heavier and my body really likes this so I am going to stay here for a while 🎉 More videos about nutrition, please! 🎉
It’s good to see the extreme end of a life fully committed to exercise/diet/health and its motivational but for me it’s so committed it’s not relatable. For many who watch I would guess it is. I don’t know if there is a day in the life of someone who has a desk job, a commute, school runs, a dog, kids to shop for and feed but who trains 5 days - and does ok with diet but is passive too much.
Very interesting video, I’m full time shift worker. 2 kids. My workouts are either 5/6am or after the school run on days off. I’m fit but lacking in ideas for diet and sometimes struggle to hit the protein goals (180g 6’2 180lbs) this video was very helpful 👍
Marcus! Love your content as always, especially the eating vlogging as it tends to give me ideas that I can work into my everyday diet. Also, can you do a video on how to cook these Whole high protein Foods for yourself but also provide meals for your young kids? I also have two daughters. Thanks!
I love the way you eat! I am reverse dieting and slowing increasing my calories in hopes of fixing my metabolism and reaching 3,000 calories. I love higher carb diets :)
More full day of eating videos please and even if it’s irrelevant for all of us I would appreciate if you can mention how much of each ingredient do you have in each meal. Thank you very much
I'm amazed that you can eat that much and still stay so light and lean. You're fairly active but still. I think it's because you've spent many years developing the metabolism to what it is.
Would it be possible for you to share your average blood lab values based off the diet and supplementation you have been following? More nutrition videos please!
Your routine is insane man. Everything is so meticulous. I guess it's needed to get your kind of results. One of the great quotes of this video: "I've been inside all day" - at 9 AM 😂😂😂. A lot of people just got going by then, including me
I think that was his total for the day, not just that 30 minute session. Plus he said *about* 5,000 steps so he could’ve been at like 4700 or something
I subscribe to the idea that there is not a one size fits all or cookie cutter approach to nutrition. What you see me doing is not specifically going to work for you. Make sure to test things out and find what works best. That advice can go to both the "genetically blessed" of "average" people.

Nutrition insight is so helpful!

An unedited live streamed series of your current weekly workout routine. My girl is going body building mode and I’m inspired.

Will do!!
What walking pad model and Treadmill model do you use bro?

Wait…I already seen this video. Re uploaded?
It was 2 videos before and we combined it into one!
@@marcusfilly oh, now it makes sense. Thanks
Eat 🎥 is great to know,
I'm try to gain little weight. Thanks
15 minutes in an I’ve only seen his coffee, pancake, and banana meals haha. I suppose it’s my fault for just trying to see some meal ideas.
Okay, first meal is finally covered at 19:55 😅
First meal is at 5:10
Your daughter teaching her sister is very funny
Feel like I've seen this already. This is either a re-upload or theres a glitch in the matrix.
This is a full length edit that was originally cut in 2 parts.
There is evidence that cold water therapy may inhibit hypertrophy, are you concerned about this?
Man only 1500 steps a day! 😂 I know he meant 15k
totally repeat these type of videos!
This is an old video. I saw this a year or so ago.
Is this an old video? I feel like I’ve seen this a year ago. I may be having Deja vu
Wait, this is definitely outdated! I’ve watched this before. Darn! Wish this was a 2024 video
Yea it is a combo edit of parts 1 and 2 and everything still holds true.
he eats
Damn you can walk 2.5 miles in 30 minutes while using a laptop?
He probably shut down the laptop after a while
@@sholaabitogun2747 you do realize that's a 12 min/mile pace at all times.
@@lelandmassaro4086 yes which is very hard when you are using your laptop for like typing
@@sholaabitogun2747 that's what I'm saying! Nutty. I could only do that with a short stepped jog

I despise the way genetically blessed people tell avg people what to eat. If only it were a cookie cutter blueprint for all people.

I despise when people don’t listen and just throw shade on good advice because of their own insecurities.
