@@GregDelR33 My old stomping grounds! That stretch of water before Bertrand’s island into the cove and back across was were I sailed my little 14’ sailfish sailboat. Camped out in the woods at the old ice house spot, road my bike through king cove.. part of my paper route.
@@peterdallman4550 that's awesome. Sounds like a lot of good memories. I've spent much of my life in the Hopatcong area and love the lake. Some great fishing out there too
@@GregDelR33 I certainly spent a lot of time fishing too. We lived on Yellow Barn Ave 5-6 houses towards Bertrand’s Island from the sand bar barrels. In the winter our ice fishing was sitting in the front room watching for the flags to pop up. Cheating, I know but when you’re 12 it’s pretty convenient.
Is that Bertrand’s Island? If so, I grew up on the right hand side of the screen before Kings Cove.
