"A grand jury in Arizona has handed up an indictment against former President Donald Trump’s allies over their efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss, including the fake electors from that state and several individuals connected to his campaign.
Boris Epshteyn, a former White House aide who remains one of Trump’s closest advisers; former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows; and Rudy Giuliani are among those who have been indicted, according to a source familiar with the investigation."

I dont quite see what the crime was. It seems they worked within the legal system appealing to a judge and that sort of thing.
There are certain state and federal laws and guidelines that has to be followed when dealing with the electoral college. They violated every one of them. You can't arbitrarily just change electors on a whim.
I remember discussion here in Arizona about overturning the election in 2020. Local news were asking attorney's if it was possible. Supposedly they said have to change the law first then they could do it. Rudy said they could do it now they pay for attorney's to take it before the supreme court.

The court doesn’t care about how reporters frame this nor how we understand this. Charging this as a coup in a court of law wouldn’t be smart legally and would possibly create loopholes for the defense.

The reason they didn't indict the smelly Chump yet, is because his pardons doesn't apply to state courts, if in all unlikeliness should he win, they will have no incentive to stay loyal. If this does precede in court I can pretty much guarantee , at leastone of those people will cut a deal,, and as you see people who deals with Trump keep evidence and record phone calls.
