this whole album is such a masterpiece....as someone who has struggled with life-long chronic depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse, and who is currently in a relapse right now, this album really hits close to home. it hurts, but in a good way. exactly what i needed right now.

I kept getting tired of faith healer by early December and then eventually I kept thinking we weren't getting anything else before the album but then a new single gets announced which I was really happy about as the wait between hardlines and faith healer was too long and i was getting super inpatient.
@@sethmishne yeah, me too, kind of. I also thought that Faith Healer was the only single we would get while waiting for the release of the album. And I probably listened to it every day so I needed something new. And Julien just came here and saved us all.

Feel like this song sucker-punched me. Broke down listening to this because today was the hardest day I've had in months and this spoke to me like nothing else. Incredible song. This is gonna be one of the year’s best albums.

what was this ending... for real, it made me feel so dejected, sad and done for to think of loved ones going through the hardest of hardships on their lives, but the way a dog witnessed its owner through that made it a billion times worse 😭
This came to me the morning after my girlfriend died in a freak accident saving two struggling swimmers. For that I will always treasure this and you Julien. Thank you.

Got the LP and it plays repeatedly. Baker is fantastic. Beautiful, melancholy, passionate, and chill. I don't encounter such bliss often. I only hope Baker cares for herself or has a strong support network.
