1:39 everytime I do this it doesn't look like what you have, instead the separation just looks like a black shadow, like a long black shadow and not the same words cut up or layered like paper as yours looks.

Great video, i am stuck at minute 6:10 after making selection and going back to brush. Its asking for later to be rasterized. When i rasterize it, it goes to black. anyone can help me get around that? (Macbook)

Hey,
How do i control/change the direction of stroke. Like in your case text is moving upwards and the stroke lane is behind it. In my case my text is moving rightwards.
No worries i figured it out.
So guys if you wanna control the direction of stroke in the same direction as his, then first press contrl + optn + up then contrl + optn + right. Repeat this pattern till you're satisfied with the shadow/stroke. If you want to have the segregated trail of stroke then off set each layer a little to have the stroke look like they are piled up on each other.
