We did this track, it was quite a bit wetter just after winter, it's enjoyable, we ended up camping at canebrake pool.
Yeah, I reckon we must on done it during one of the driest periods. Still good fun, but will have to re-visit in the winter 👍
Need to convince the missus that we should get a Prado when I move with her Down Under. Nice video mate!
Thanks mate, they sure are a great car, you wouldn't be disappointed at all.
Cheers for watching, Nathan.
@Mitch09 hey mate would you say the 3.0 is better than the 4.0 petrol six?
Not getting much info bout both of those but I'm looking at 2010-13 prados both diesel and petrol.
Not looking for power necessarily but I want something that would last.
That is a great track - I took 17 vehicles from my 4WD Club (The Four Wheel Drive Club of WA) and the Isuzu 4WD Club of WA down it on the Sunday of the Labour Day long weekend and had a great time. A couple of the vehicles had no mods other than AT tyres and they did it okay.
Get them to give it a crack in winter with ATs 😅
Go the 150! Two of my favorite Toyota's good stuff guys
Hugo's Adventure Cheers mate 👍
Hugo's Adventure definitely!
Excelente, Costa Rica, central america
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it!
Cheers, Nathan.
Waaau, really nice video! 😍 J20 in white with ARB Bumper look perfect. 😎 Hope my next car 😊 ...J15 is fine, but regarding my experience it is slightly restless. Mainly during faster speed 😐 Greetings from Europe 😉
Haha! Glad you liked the video. They are awesome cars! Love driving my one, never get bored, on or off-road! 🚙 💨
You will have to head out there around this time when the track is at its best most of the ruts you get water over the bonnet good fun if your car is water tight and now the start of the track has been blocked off for some reason
Yeah, I've seen some footage of the winter vid's! Looks insane, definitely don't want to get caught up in the middle of one of those bogs.
What's in been blocked by? Not good news!
You most certainly do not want to be stuck in those bog holes haha, they have dug big holes on the track and put trees and sand mounds at the first bit
That's not good! These places aren't doing themselves any favours by blocking off access to popular 4WD tracks. They'll only push people to other places where more complaints will be made...
Lets hope someone else opens this back up.
Hey mate great video 🤙 just wondering where Adelaide road is. Cheers
Thanks mate 👍 it comes off Sabina Road, about 30km south of Busselton, WA
nice rig!
Cheers mate 🤙
How did you manage to pass that deep track where you were winched out?, great video
Fortunately there was a skinny side track running parallel to the main track. The ruts and step up on the main track were just a little too big for the LC200.
Thanks.
Hi, you may have already covered this but I am new to your channel: why did you switch to the 200 from the Prado? Any reasons besides the fact the 200 is a larger SUV and has a bigger engine? In all practicality, is the 200 really any more capable off-road than a Prado?
The main reason I switched was for the load carrying and towing capacity and capabilities. There is no comparison between the two vehicles when it comes to their abilities to tow (and we tow a 2.5t caravan). The 200 handles it a lot easier and has soo much more power and torque available. Further, the 200 series traction and crawl control systems are awesome in my opinion and would definitely be a large benefit over the Prado. Also, it is easier to fit the larger tyres to the 200 series.
Overal the 200 series is definitely a better vehicle both for on-road and off-road driving, it just depends whether you 'need' the extras and whether they are worth the extra $$$ to you.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Nathan.
XploringOz Thanks for the information! My father had a 2004 100 series. I’m currently looking at a Prado myself.
Both great vehicles. Good luck mate 👍
do you have the gps coordinates for the start mate?
What pressure did you run the tyres at??
ian Neill around the 20-22 PSI range 👍
What winch and tyres you running on the prado? Cheers
Hey mate, I’ve got a whole video dedicated to the Prado fit out on the channel. How’s into all that detail 👍
Is that land cruiser diesel 🤨?
Sure is. It's a 4.5L V8 twin turbo diesel. Awesome engine!
Great video mate but could you do one without music, pretty please. I personally reckon music ruins 4wdriving and camping videos.
Thanks mate, I appreciate the feedback. Still learning and improving these videos, so I'll definitely take this on board for my future trip vid's. Thanks, Nathan.
Can i have your 200 series BFG tyre size?
Greeting from Booragoon 🙋
Hey mate,
Good to see some local viewers around here!
Sure thing, the tyre size is 305/65 18. I have a couple of vid's on the channel going into more detail in regards to the tyre size/types and comparisons etc.
Cheers, Nathan.
@ 11:00 I think that's the same fly that landed on Joe Biden, persistent little bugger!!
Hahahah. No doubt mate! Very persistent, always entertaining while we're trying to film.
Get yourself a Jeep Wrangler mate
Haha, unlikely to happen anytime soon 😂
