Capitalism always wins because because people want the comfort and lifestyle that becomes possible when talented people have the incentive to work hard and innovate.
Producing more than you consume is the law of prosperity.
People are leaving socialist experiments that always fail in the end because you always run out of others peoples $ eventually.
Best of luck expanding your mindset...

@no name Pretty sure capitalism is still going strong, as socialism roots grow on the nutrition of capitalism that's when you see capitalism fail, but not because of its self. Capitalism is about self responsibility to make your life and money.
Socialism is about dependency on others, selfishness in thinking you deserve what you do not work for.

You are typing on a computer provided by some capitalism... capitalism obviously has improved your life - not destroyed it! That’s a success...
The record of human history is crystal clear, the only cases where ordinary people lives have been improved is where the masses have had capitalism and largely free trade.
Henry Ford, Einstein etc inventions came from productive enterprise not government edicts.
Economies come and go, forms of currencies change, systems collapse and rebuild. There’s nothing permanent expect change. But, through it all humanity has continued to survive. As long as people are willing to trade with one another there will always be an economy. We are all far more empowered to change things ourselves despite what a manipulative media or political element may have you believe.
You are not going to change the things you point out... but this is the nature of human history as it points out to us.
      You can change Yourself!

@ruzzell907 I don't think it's fair to say "working" there are people struggling and working 3 jobs. There are those that hold is an unfounded belief that rich people are evil or bad and certainly there are examples of that, however there is an equal percentage of poor and middle class evil and bad people. Same goes for good people coming from all walks of life. There are those who have taken themselves from poverty to wealth in America, yes it goes with hard work but also an attitude and belief and an eye for opportunity. The trifecta is a combination of work, attitude and mindset. Unfortunately school today teaches handout mentality and that's why there is this whole "anti-adulting" movement.

As someone from the roughest parts of east cleveland, Ohio thats been treated like gargage his entire life and never had parents or good humans around at all, just abusive, selfish humans and no direction.
I've spent my entire life being lost and confused, dealing with health issues and coming to the realization that this country and everything i was raised in school to believe it was...was a lie.
I want to leave, no, i have to leave. I have suffered too much and the system both medical and judicial has let me down and allowed things to happen that truly are heartbreaking and I just feel and have felt pain due to it all for so long, but so afraid to change or move or find a way to squeeze some happiness out of this life before i die.
And without advice or funds, especially being disabled, and alone, low income, it sounds impossible to move to a new country, even if im able to keep my ssdi and survive off of 1500$ a month, until i can find a doctor who cares or a place that values good, honest humans and allow me to he productive and useful for someone... Maybe find love or friends...a family.
I've tried to look into places and having never went anywhere except here in middle of nowhere Ohio and florida for a small part of my life, i just see the direction this country is going in and how everyone puts money over life..
Im 38 and feel like ive used so much on either people who just used me and abused me, or lived a lie and am slowly dying and in so much pain, and no healthcare or doctors who care to help, even someone who's never even had as much as a speeding ticket.
I know i have worth and use, i just need a healthy environment and a place that cares about human life and the quality of life, as i know i have so much capability and refuse to die like this.
I don't know how to get to Malaysia or start this, but I want to and as scared as i am now, loving in a way that just a home and bills leave me with barely enough for food in the middle of nowhere Ohio, with no friends or family and no resources or guidance, i deserve better and this country has taken enough from me, and given me NOTHING only made me sicker by refusing to treat ny my health issues and instead just saving money by claiming depression pills will fix things, or allowing corrupt judges and cps workers to destroy the only little family i ever had, no, i may be 6"3 and seem strong, but my health isn't great and so it makes me an easy target but i know it can be helped and my pain can be helped, but this place doesn't care about it's people...and I've had enough.
Im in tears writing this and am a good person, I don't want to be buried in a country thats treated me so badly, and taken so much, i know theres more out there. God send me an angel and just help me leave this place.

I have long since learned that I do not need a salary/income. These two things means more taxes. What I need, a business must provide. Therefore, in order for the business to "survive" it must supply in my needs" so that I can manage it. In other words, if the business cannot supply food, transport, roof, etc, I cannot work for the business so that it can have income. I don't need the business, The business needs me... I know this sounds upside down, but it has worked for me for almost 2 decades... I eat what the business can supply, I drive cars that the business own, I stay in houses that the business rent. All is done as economically as possible so that the business can be as financially strong as possible. Personally I own NOTHING. No house, No car, not even a personal bank account. The day I die (cause we all go that way) there is no will and testament. I will just cease to exist and the business will be managed by the rest of my immediate family.

Back in 2003 when I told a friend I was moving to SE Asia, he told me, "Be careful. Don't get your head chopped off." And he was quite serious.
Andrew is 100% correct in this video. You just need to do it and have the inner drive to find a way to make it happen. Most Westerners I encounter are locked in their bubble of ignorance, full of complaints but not taking any action. I have been an expat for over 15 years, hold multiple citizenships, and enjoy traveling the world. This lifestyle is second-to-none and I wouldn't give it up for anything.
None of this would be possible if I had listened to that friend all those years ago. He was the proverbial crab in the bucket, locked in to a cycle of ignorance perpetuated by his peers. Be your own boss and take control of your life.

Get fluent with the official language BEFORE you move. Contracts are in that language so anything you do, rent or buy legally involves you being able to read a contract. Being able to get around is fine on vacation, but moving is another story. Trust me, it will impact every part of your experience from prices to dating and everything in between. Plus it shows and gets respect by speaking their language. I dont know why more people dont emphasize this? I AM- LEARN THE LANGUAGE or go elsewhere, its that simple. Thank me later 👍🏻✌🏼😎🌴🥂

Correct me if I am wrong, but it's all about tax residency. If you are US tax resident, you pay taxes according to their laws, if you are from European country, you pay taxes in your European country. That's it, with some variations of it. But you are not mentioning the most important aspect - where those taxes go. Taxes are used for various improvements within your tax residency country, including your access to healthcare, since you pay taxes to support it. So while we are taxed like crazy here in Europe, I can get free healthcare from quality providers anytime I want, including large procedures. While living in Asia might be more tax-profitable from the savings point of view, I am not sure I would be comfortable having a serious operation in Vietnam as their taxpayer if I am in a car crash for example. Pros and cons...but yes I agree you are free to move anywhere and obtain tax residency wherever you please.

Study the pros' and cons' of each situation. We are programmed to believe "where we are" is the best, but, that is not always the case. Including health care.

Wow! You're from Cleveland, OH too? I would definitely agree that there's an energy and attitude of settling in Cleveland. I feel like the oddball sometimes in my family circle as I've chosen to live outside the U.S. I've learned to just listen to the call of my heart. Glad to be a subscriber to your channel!

Thanks Andrew. I’ve visited your channel intermittently over the last year as these ideas have come up or crossed my mind. You are very clear and well spoken and provide great value.
I hope to continue to work towards a life lived in the places I chose to at any one time. It’s been a dream of mine since travelling extensively in 2014.
Dealing with autoimmune health has has slowed this decision, but I’m working diligently on achieving complete health. Then it will be time :)

😂😂 Your comment about Cleveland cracked me up. I am also from Cleveland and that is totally the response I get from people too. And you are exactly right, most people from Cleveland end up staying there. I never understood why. I got out and went west as soon as I graduated college. I want to start really traveling more outside of the US tho. I am glad I found your channel.

So, if your dad lived by the philosophy “go where your treated best”, how did he end up in Cleveland, OH in the late 1980s? Serious question. Did he get a great job or was this advice from someone who learned it too late and was trapped in a place that treated him poorly but wanted his kid to escape the same fate?

I’m looking to move, eventually, from a Italy to somewhere that I can earn more money. I have a Canadian passport and an Irish/European passport. Where would any of you recommend moving that has a great quality of life and where we can actually save and enjoy the money we make? I would also like to be in a country that respects and protects citizens and workers rights rather than force medical procedures on them, or they lose their job.

People told me I was going to get robbed and targeted if I moved to Quito, Ecuador. Been here almost a year and I feel safer here than I did back home in Toronto. Also, my house that I pay $350/month for sure beats the crummy basement apartment I was renting for $1200 back home. Also grass fed beef and pastured raised eggs for a fraction of the cost cannot be beat 👌
