I have lived outside the US for almost 20 years and have traveled to about 50 countries and no way do I have plans of returning to the U.S. I think the U.S. peaked in the 1950s with a couple of tech bursts in the 80s, but now the competition has caught up, and now there are so many more places with more freedom, higher quality of life, and ease of living than the U.S. Beautiful painting in your office by the way.
@Andrew H Scandanavia probably has the best overall quality of life on the planet. I love living in mountainous rural areas with a lot of agriculture full of fresh air and plenty of mountain biking. It all depends on what you need to be happy.
I spent 6 years, several thousand dollars to USCIS, and 70% of my energy and mental health getting US citizenship and I regret it! I'm in research on how to renounce it and get back my Georgian citizenship. I had no idea that I should have reported to the IRS that I have some properties in Georgia and now I'm going to be taxed because of that although they haven't been purchased after becoming a US citizen. This is absolutely crazy. Only if I had all this information before becoming a citizen would be a lifesaver. This isn't the country of freedom. It is a country of paying taxes in every step you make. Even when you fart. I feel like something is suffocating me to breathe properly.
So if you own property or have income and then you become a us citizen you have to pay taxes or your offshore property and income from a different country ?
I am from Algeria and I am a US citizen. I own 3 properties in Algeria and they never taxed me. Why would you tell them you have foreign properties? You put your foot in the mouth my friend
My Mother an American married my Dad who is a New Zealander and migrated to NZ. My mother surrendered her US citizenship in 2018 with the utmost hesitation but she couldn't comprehend the need to do US tax returns when she hasn't permanently lived in the country for over 30 years. She also retained it just incase I wanted to apply for US citizenship before I turned 18 but I said no at the time. I'm proud of my American heritage but I identify as a New Zealander.
@A M I know you don't trust health professionals, but those pills your psychiatrist prescribed - you need to take them or you'll slip back into your delusions. I hope you get better.
I'm on my way. To Tepic Nayarit to stay for good. I get so much backlash at my choice to leave. I feel strong in my decision to go. Mexico has changed tremendously in the past 10 years. And all I see is that it has made great strides in making Mexico a better place for all the people of the country. I'm taking a road trip from California to my home in Mexico next month. And I'm so excited to finally be on the brink of running away from my American home. Viva Mexico!!!!!
“Being a citizen of countries that are not judgmental” You really hit the nail on the head. That is the key thing that bothers me about the US. Not only is the government that way, but the people themselves are competing with each other to be more judgmental. There’s almost this hyper-vigilance to be judgmental and to impose your feelings and beliefs.
Your so right, I have even found myself being more judgmental in the last few years and it shocks the hello out of me. The only person we can judge is ourself and that shoudl be the same for countries.
And the government is pitting one side against the other to divide us and have us fighting with each other rather than looking where the real problem is. We need to wake the heck up. When I go to the Philippines and come back to America, it's hard to deal with the attitudes here after being in such a friendly place as the Philippines.
To all those who wanna immagrate outta the US this year best of luck from Ireland! Find a new better life where you can. I saw how bad things became for you guys and I pity you citizens. You deserve a better, more finacially suitable and safer way to live your lives. Political parties divides your own people into fights, student loans are too much for most young adults to pay, homelessness has increased in parts of the US, housing is nowadays hard to buy for to live in Not to mention the taxes. The shootings in schools and small towns and people assaulting you for having an opinion that isn't theirs. What the Hell happened, US?
You said Thailand is doing well, well I am from Thailand and for 88 years people have been trying to fight for freedom for the past 88 years. The government, and the monarchy were so corrupted. Citizens were mainly poor. But looking from the outside in the eyes of the tourists, Thailand is gorgeous, it’s also the land of smiles . But Thai people has no
I’m so sorry to hear that I been in Thailand and I love your Country absolutely gorgeous and the people are respectful , except for the Chinese there they do t know how to behave, but any way I understand that spending dollars it’s different than working to for bahts.
I very much love Thailand and the Thai People, also the food. I really thought highly and respected King Rama IX and his wonderfull wife Queen Sirkit. Every monarch must earn the respect of the people. This is true in every country with a Monarch. I pray for the Thai people.
@@DC-uo5hy Thank you for your comment for the love of Thailand. For the last 6-7 years Thai politic got worse due to the new king Rama X. He controls the legislative and every branch of the governments. The cruelty towards any citizens that violated section 112, which stated no one can make any comments or criticize the monarchy. Many citizens mysteriously disappeared, some escaped to other countries. Thailand is not a democracy country as it appears to the world, but no Thai citizens can say anything. The current King spent taxpayers money despite the fact that he is the most richest man in the world. Anyway, if you have an opportunity to go to Thailand as a tourist again, you will not experience anything like those citizens. I wish your next trip to Thailand is better than the first, have a wonderful trip .
I completely agree with everything you said. I had the chance to go to major cities in Europe with my girlfriend in 90'. It realy changed my perception of the US and the world. I highly recommend that everyone should leave the country at least once in their lifetime. I would do anything to get the chance to leave again. This time for good. Thanks.
Very true, you’ll tend to see the very nationalistic Americans, Make America Great Again voters who have never left the United States and don’t have a passport. And unfortunately it’s that ignorance of the rest of the world gets implemented in policies by the leaders. These folks are also shooting themselves in the foot.
@LLT Collection Isn't obesity greater in US than these other countries who offer universal healthcare? Aren't these countries who are taxed a lot scoring the highest in happiness indices? Have you actually traveled in say Europe?
@LLT Collection Good for you. My experience in dozens of years of travel and stay in multiple countries is a little different. If it matters, I am 'brown' and have had much lower instances of racism vs. places in US midwest where I have also studied and lived.
As someone who has visited Europe for years, and lived there awhile not too long ago, I'd say its really not so different anymore in our Internet world, and English is somewhat more common than years ago. I personally found visiting Asia to be closer to the "this is so different" feeling.
Your speech and actions are of true Liberty, one that the USA supposedly utters to have but does not provide. To sum up what the USA is: False advertisement.

@TravPitt Yup, you're right, almost all (like, nearing 100%) of these major issues are coming from blue states/cities. Red have some of these issues found in blue, but the level of which they are present are.. say not exceeding 10% or 5% max.

I left in 2003. Best f*cking decision I ever made. I have a HUGE client base in the USA, so I didn't want to pay taxes on those earnings. Man, what a difference. I did a grey business from 1999 to 2012 (BIG BUSINESS), but in 1993 I also started this online business. In 2003 I created my Alibaba seller account. Now people send me money X, I take the train in Hong Kong to China buy the product they want for X-Y and keep the difference. I provide such a good service. It blows the mind of the Westerners. I learned to speak Chinese & I've never been freer.... maybe next is SIngapore. Life is f*cking GREAT!

Being level headed is a difficult road in North America. I just saw this video, and am surprised that it was released three years ago, not last week. I am a carpenter in Canada, I make way less money than your regular audience (I can crack six figures, but I spend half the year in Brazil). In Canada, on the prairies, I live under snow and ice for six months, and am taxed more than people from the US. I have a highly desirable skill. I have found an ecological reserve in Brazil that is over 15,000 acres big, owned and run by a very wealthy Brazilian man who own part of a gold mine. He is an absolute joy to work with. He has no barriers between his vision and execution. I am going to develop a new way to build sustainable homes that are structurally redundant, and last for hundreds of years. This is viable because of the climate and high quality materials here. No matter how much money I have saved, within the next two years, I'm staying permanently. Rural Brazil is paradise.
I had to leave Hawaii and a job in a hospital for 28 years. Then 3.5 years ago our brilliant politicians and fat governor cut Medicaid and healthcare severely. My hours were cut drastically and many staff were laid and fired. Our ICU was always short staffed and severely short staffed on the weekends. I quit my unstable job and my cobra payment was $600 a month FU HMSA. I retired early and moved overseas 2 years ago. The best decision I have ever made . Hawaii has become unaffordable. Total insanity the price of everything housing, utilities, damn phone bill is outrageous . It wasn’t always like that. When I tell expats from Canada and Europe how high and expensive our healthcare cost, they are shocked
@Akira S when I grew up in Hawaii 70-80’s, it was great and paradise. One job , lived in a nice townhouse and drove a brand new Celica. No financial stress. Then in the mid 80’s, 2 jobs, always stress and anxiety. We started to have a homeless problem more than 2 decades ago and it has exploded everywhere on the island. Growing up I maybe saw 1-2 homeless at Ala Moana park. The cost of living is double or triple what you pay on the mainland. I visited Colorado and kept asking are you sure it’s only $13 dollars for 2 tacos and wine, did you miss something.
Can I ask where you went? I’m also thinking of leaving the US. I’m looking at the Philippines, Mexico and Thailand. Any suggestions/info would be much appreciated.
So, I live in canada. Everytime I go to the store to buy anything, a lawnmower, a screwdriver, a TV , an electric razor, a shirt, a cell phone it's made outside of the country...usually china. We make nothing here. What we do have is homes. People from China are buying them and bidding up the prices so our kids can't afford to buy them. Do we see any problem here?
Was a group of people responsible for destroying your nation and enacting these policies? Not sure but I was Expelled from 108 Schools but it was Never my Fault...

I'd like to check out eastern Europe and South America more.... maybe even Africa. Sorry for the late reply, I only just saw your comment.
There is an entire movement of african americans who have had enough and for the sake of their families, their mental health and so on. Many are leaving for Asia and Africa. Places where they are welcome. The nomad capitalist nailed it. Go where you are treated best.

I’ve been telling people for a long time now that countries like VietnamJamaica, and Thailand are more free that the USA but no one believes me. Thanks for explaining this today Andrew.
You’re an idiot - ever heard of the yellow and red shirts in Thailand? In Thailand you are killed for insulting the king. Give us a break. You’re brainwashed by the left.. who ironically want to enslave you more.

I admire you for leaving and finding a better way. I would like to leave but I have kids and grandkids that I like being near. I’m embarrassed by our corrupt government and political system. It’s horrible what politicians and mainstream media has done in the USA.
My father left the US over 60 years ago but still retrained his citizenship. The last years he had to run around like a headless chicken in his 80's trying to comply with all the new crazy regulatory requirements coming out of the US...
Dont tell me, he needed to do his taxes for the last 60 years? The US is disgusting when it comes to fleecing those that who haven't even lived here for years! As though they are rightfully entitled to money earned overseas! It's disgusting!
If I ever left the US for good am not declaring jack to the US Goverment why should I...the idea of double taxation is disgusting....there is no way the US is coming after all those US citizens around the world even with all its resources...I personally know a person that left the USA for good 19 years ago(Retained his US Citizenship he was Naturalized) but had citizenship in another country and he NEVER paid or Declared anything to the USA with what he earned overseas and he earned very good money...IRS and FATCA can go to hell with their BS regulations.

I really envy your freedom. I will never have the freedom to leave America as I'm still enslaved by poverty here. There was a time when I loved it was proud to be American now I am is a shamed and disgusted by what we have become My freedom will now come when I leave this world ... I'm so tired so very tired of all the BS! Take care and good luck to you.
What are you talking about bro. Yes, things might be bad but there are opportunities everywhere to make money and a good life for yourself. Don't give up. Life is precious.
You can't be American and talking about poverty unless you are not doing well health wise. Purpose to work and invest in the countries you guys call shithole and you will transform your future
Sadly America has changed a lot for the worse, particularly in the last 30-40 years. The reasons for this seem numerous but the fact is government entities ballooning in size and intruding in all aspects of people's lives are a huge factor.
It is true, my best friend and his American wife wanted to do business with an English Bank and set up a trust. Because she was from the USA the bank declined their business.
I love the smartness and the freedom of mind of this Guy... Instead of juging foreign countries he seeks global opportunities and cooperation... An example to follow.
People, unless you are making crazy money abroad and have really really thought about it, do NOT give up American citizenship, if you have it. There are various ways, also fully legal, to lessen your US income tax while living abroad.
@@GUITARTIME2024 Not all are content with fanning the embers of disfunction forever. It takes living out of the country to realize America is nothing but PR
Yeah I am looking to live abroad too but will not be giving up my AC. You never know what is going to happen elsewhere in the World. Look what's happening in Ukraine now. I am looking to leave the US primarily for a better society with less materialism, crime, and drugs. I also would like universal healthcare and more days off from work. This is not because I am lazy but because I want to work to live, not live to work. Life is way more enjoyable and the people are way more friendly and spiritual in many other countries. Americans are uptight robots. Not all, but most.
Entire Europe has socialist way uf living - not a lot of people have real estate, low income & high taxes. Socialism is a costly system because of taxation for hard working people. Because they must support lazy people who don't want to work a lot
You must watch a lot of CNN. The things you mentioned are the least of the issues, what really is the problems is the growing government control and taxation, inflation and debt, totalitarianism and leftist propaganda.
I've been an expat for more than 40 years. My bank in the USA, where I receive my SSI and a corporate pension, is closing my account because I no longer have a address or phone number in the USA. I now receive my pensions directly to my bank in SEA and am closing my USA account today.
People who work hard… but who really works that hard in the US. Most people just happened to be born into wealth or just know the right person to get in the right positions, or happen to be talented in a field that’s high paying and in demand. So God isn't in other countries? Believers can and do serve in many places whether they are well off or not. The fact that the U.S. is becoming more difficult to live in and people may want something different and or better is not a bad idea. Hi Andrew, thank you for this video. I've only recently discovered your channel and am looking into leaving the US for the very reasons you outlined here. It's not as much a financial issue for me as much as it is the way I now see that the US has become: tribal, boorish, ignorant, hypocritical, pushy. Honestly, I've only ever seen a couple of your other videos, and based solely on the comments on your message board I always thought you were a bit of a nut (sorry!). But now, after seeing this video, I think I understand you better and I definitely have a better opinion of you. I may not agree with everything you say, and my specific situation is different from yours, but I think that -- at the core -- we have the same motivations for wanting to leave the US. Thank you for being so frank and honest in this video!

As much of an avid nomad capitalist fan I am, you also need to point out that China banned U.S. technology first. China banned Instagram Facebook and google from their country. It’s only fair another country does the same in retaliation. Why let someone access your own country’s market if they won’t let you access theirs? It’s just good to point out both sides of the coin when discussing a hot topic and it can lead to a better understanding of the issue. Love your videos and have watched most of them. Thanks

What's your thoughts about the Great Reset that is mentioned by the World Economic Forum? Also what's your thoughts that we are heading towards the final and fourth industrial revolution regarding technocracy?
In my eyes its simple: you either care about America, and Americans, and want to fight for something better for America- or you don't like America/Americans, don't like American culture etc etc. It would be an easy decision to give up your American citizenship of you fall into the later camp. I stay in America because I care about the trajectory of our future here. I could easily get, for example, Israeli citizenship (I'm a Jew) but I stay here because I want to be a part of the fight for something better.
I wouldn't care that much about this place to try to improve it. I live here in Ca. which I loathe too much. I would sooner piss on this place before I do anything for it. So for me the only viable option would be to get out instead.
Well everyone has their own decisions, but when you look at the settlers and the reasoning to come to America, it was because they were looking for a better life.....back in those days the people they left behind, were they telling and saying the same things we would say to those who leave America???? I'm beginning to almost make over 100k per year which will eventually make me have to pay taxes if I make over 103k. say if I made 200k and I filed for the foreign income exclusion I would have to pay a percentage from the 97k right? And how can I bypass this? Can I just get a residence in Nicaragua or Panama, costa rica, or Puerto Rico? The thing that sucks about Puerto Rico is i dont want to be in that country for 183 days. I like to travel around every few months to a different country. Is panama the best option? Will their residence program help me to not pay taxes in the states?
I was born in the USA and have dual Citizenship with the Dominican Republic by ancestry, but I'm seriously considering renouncing my USA citizenship.

Hard to find people nowadays that are moderate and not 100% polarized, thanks for expressing those so needed views.
“Being a citizen of countries that are not judgmental”
You really hit the nail on the head. That is the key thing that bothers me about the US. Not only is the government that way, but the people themselves are competing with each other to be more judgmental. There’s almost this hyper-vigilance to be judgmental and to impose your feelings and beliefs.
Society just makes everything worse
Your so right, I have even found myself being more judgmental in the last few years and it shocks the hello out of me. The only person we can judge is ourself and that shoudl be the same for countries.
And the government is pitting one side against the other to divide us and have us fighting with each other rather than looking where the real problem is. We need to wake the heck up. When I go to the Philippines and come back to America, it's hard to deal with the attitudes here after being in such a friendly place as the Philippines.
Yes America has been going down hill for the last 30 years.

During Bloomberg’s recent RUclips interview with Ray Dalio (titled “Dalio on Impact of Deficits, Election, U.S.-China Tensions”), in response to a question about how an investor might prepare for possible chaos resulting from the current U.S. election process, Dalio said, “The most important thing is to know how to diversify well.” Interestingly, he went on to emphasize the importance of diversifying “by country.”
Agree 100%
The thing that makes this video so Cool! (1) The message shared was nice and welcomed (2) The Artwork in the background was tooo Nice and (3) Imitating Donald Trumps voice...LOL was awesome.
Peace of mind is a commodity that is very dear in these troubled times.
Thank you for your insight. But. The print/painting in the background. I found that piece fascinating. And, it worked so well with everything in the background.
Wow 457 comments in three days... Keep it up Team Nomad. This channel has grown a lot of the last few years.
Glad to have you, Chris.
Awesome 👍😎👍 I think you hit it 🎯
When im in the states everyones so tense and nerve wrecking. Up in canada, people are so chill. The whole ecosystem is just so much more draining in the US. Not a great place to be in.
My experience in Canada as well it was a relaxed vacation. The locals were very chill amiable and receptive. The states can be polarizing, hectic and stressful. Cancel culture and PC took the fun out of the U.S
People in Canada are much less stressed. Partly because they don't expect to be shot.
Very good points, sir.
I left a long time...Never been happier or healthier in my entire life...Get busy living!
Where did you go?
Nicely put. So true these words you speak.
I agree with everything you said. How I wish I was younger to do some of the things you're doing. It's too late for me now and will tell my kids and younger friends. Wish you much luck and happiness. Thanks and love it when you said with the right diction: Not my problem now.
What's your thoughts about the Great Reset that is mentioned by the World Economic Forum? Also what's your thoughts that we are heading towards the final and fourth industrial revolution regarding technocracy?
He already made a video about it
beautiful artwork behind you
In my eyes its simple: you either care about America, and Americans, and want to fight for something better for America- or you don't like America/Americans, don't like American culture etc etc.
It's an individual decesion and asking yourself is a better life to be gained through staying in America or settling to another country
@@reyannawynters1800 Depends on what your looking for. Not everyone is looking for the same thing in life. Situation in colonial america was a lot different than today. Back then you didn't have as many people as you do now. Less populated back then.
Also even today you have people leaving one part of the U.S. and going to another part of the U.S. for the same reason: looking for a better life.
For example a lot of people have been moving out of California and moving to another state.
For economic/political reasons.
@@reyannawynters1800 Yup the settlers/invaders fled their downtrodden lives in the Old World so they can dish out what they received in the Old World to the Natives of the New World and then when they became wealthier in the New World, their slaves. After about four or more centuries of settlement the Old World surpasses the New World in terms of safety, quality of life, standard of living, healthcare etc. The New World is falling further and further behind because the settler/invader descendants never really adapted to new ideas and tech and new politics.

I don’t agree with some of what you said, but I do agree with many things you said. I plan to listen more with an open mind. Thanks for sharing!
To be honest you have made me realise how great my country Pakistan is with just 4% corporate taxe and low cost of doing business.
😂 i'm moving there
Our currency took a plunge in the last few years but generally it has been good for our exports and stabilising economy. Banking sector is almost free to use a corporate bank account can be opened by just depositing 20$ and giving out fingerprints for verification.
@@chavez5540 morocco has a fixed currency, yours should be too...you need a king too for political stability
@Prem Joshi considering its a free free economy and with the covid hitting. it still did a better job at controlling the virus and keeping economy active then most of its neighbours.
@@curiousgeorge6921 its been pretty stable from the last 15 years
Please make an update video to this topic!
Been following you for a while ever since I became a digital nomad 3 years ago. I did the foreign income exclusion option the last couple years which worked well.
I made a terrible mistake moving back to the states from Thailand the beginning of the year because of covid... smh... And been trapped here since so I will have to pay full taxes next year.
I think that you first need another passport. Then a low or 0% residency can help you pay no or low taxes. Consult a professional to be sure
@@noamwolfson935 yeah man i definitely have to do alot more research. Thanks bro!
Man I love this channel
Same here! I’m not subject to any US regulations anymore!!!
you're subject to SOMEONE'S regulations.
Which country did you move to after leaving the U.S.

Dalio said, they will be coming for BTC if it continues to do this well. That is a good enough reason to move where there is not a police state.
Hey if this Nomad Capitalist thing doesn't work out I think you would make a fantastic impersonator..😂😂😂
That Trump bit was great..lol
I'm guessing you quickly decided that going to Canada was not a good idea.
There is nothing worthwhile in Canada and the government has become xenophobic....
you do a great version of the Donald! keep it up!
wow, I love that painting behind you.
It looks like the work of Anna Matykiewicz.
All great points Thanks !
Glad you enjoyed!
Well said! Keep on the good work!
Thank you. Great video.
I was born in the USA and have dual Citizenship with the Dominican Republic by ancestry, but I'm seriously considering renouncing my USA citizenship. I truly want to avoid the discomforts of having to deal with a tyrannical government, that purposely almost destroyed my possibilities through their low class inner city schooling, systemically discriminated against me, and took advantage of my miseducation to get me into debt, so that they can continue to enslave me in the Dominican Republic???!!! Hell Effing NO!!! My only concern is that the Dominican Republic seems like a puppet of the USA.
I tried opening a Bank Account in the Dominican Republic the other day and I was asked to provide my U.S.A - Social Security Card.., I was so disgusted and felt sooo violated by the intrusiveness of my natural rights, from the country I'm trying to step away from... It felt so wronged, but clear, that the world governments are implicit in taking away our natural sovereignty. In their system we're their slaves for being born and ignorantly registered in their artificially conceived reality... We're of the land, not of these cold blooded parasites...
All countries in the America's are USA puppets. In the usa sphere per say, im planning on moving to Asia
Well they receive money every year even before Batista
You still don’t understand the threat of China. US and other countries don’t necessarily need to bring all jobs home just stop feeding China. Companies should move to Vietnam, Indonesia, or India.
you get it . NC is pretty short sighted and dumb to think CCP china is better. Its a ccp dictatorship and taxes are not low either. And rich chinese get out like NC but dumb NC thinks Trump is wrong to criticise china !
@@davelawson2564 I'm Chinese (to move out to the non-US West). We don't have the kind of global taxation like the US, but we do have internal regulations that prevent our foreign currency from being brought out of the country (though it is anyway). As costs in China are going up, traditional industries are flooding to our neighbour countries, and that is following the logic of gaining more profits by lowering the costs, whether Trump wanted it or not. NC is against the US to the level where this particular nationality is not going to bring him more benefits than drawbacks, especially since he is a nomad. He couldn't justify his expatriation without criticizing the US approaches to addressing their own problems through demonizing China and controlling their own citizens in every possible way.
@Midnight who told you ? the nutcase xi jinping ?
China didnt Steal the Jobs. China was GIVEN The jobs from corrupt Politicians and Bankers.. They are not called nation wreckers for no reason...

Interesting and timely report. I feel the same way.
Can I just say the color palette and set def you're working with here is top notch.
I did a video in 2018 "Why I am leaving the US after just 4 years". I also travelled all pver the world and diversified my investments over the last 14 years while I have been seeking the best places for me to live. Now, I am based in Slovenia (5 hours drive from you) and I spend part year in Scotland, Japan and Mallorca, Spain. It is sad watching people who used to be critical thinkers who are now buying into the false dichotomy to distract the slave-class. Nice work!
To live in Japan, did you have to get a resident permit or you use the tourist visa?
When I tell my friends we need to get out of America...it's sinking, they say "where will you go?" To them it feels like the whole world is coming under the control of lockdowns and mandates so why bother going somewhere else. I don't think that's true yet where IS a better place to be right now?
How are those countries handling the COVID issue? Lockdowns etc?
@@watchandpray6684 They all have their issues; Scotland is much like New Zealand and Iceland....highly vaccinated through authoritarianism with a smile.....it is bad enough they are not independence so already have another dominating level of control which restricts prosperity in the form of the parasitic UK govt. So I am staying away from Scotland at the moment.
Japan was pretty free and following their constitution.... but now apparently are talking about vaccinating kids as young as 5, so just like many other countries, have this irrational dichotomy of freedom vs authoritarianism.
Thailand relaxed their stance as did Singapore and Norway ; but countries are flop flopping all the time. It seems the writing is on the wall, order from chaos, neufeudalism delivered though all the worst aspects of both Corporate-Socialism and Crony-Capitalism combined to usher in the plan. Coercion to be a guinea pig under threat of cost, imprisonment or isolation; for our health despite evidence everywhere that our health doesn't matter, as fatness and alcoholism has not been "banned".
