Hello, Sunrise. We’re so sorry to hear of the death of your mother. Your love for her and the impact she has had upon your life were obvious in what you wrote. We know that there will always be a special, tender place in your memory for your mom, and that the legacy of her influence will remain with you as long as you live. We’ve prayed that the Lord will continue to uphold you and touch you with His healing hand whenever you hurt.
If you’d ever like to talk with one of our caring pastoral counselors, they’d be glad to speak with you. Just dial 1-800-A-FAMILY (1-800-232-6459) anytime between 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. (MT) Monday through Friday; the Family Help Center staff member who answers the phone will arrange for a pastoral counselor to call you back. There’s no cost for this - we just want to come alongside you in any way we can.
Also, we encourage you to look over our resource list (bddy.me/3Vc21sA) on grief and loss. You may find it helpful to read the articles we’ve posted on the “Coping with Death and Grief” (bddy.me/3WyAy61) area of our website, as well. God bless you, friend, and may He strengthen you daily.
