Hi Jules! Homemade and soup and rolls sounds delicious! Sorry the socks gave you a little trouble but I’m sure they will turn out lovely! Looking forward to seeing your crocodile too 💜💖🦩🌈

Hi Sam! The soup and bread were just the right comfort food for the day. Luke commented how he forgets sometimes how the simple things taste the best. The socks are now on my stubborn list. I will finish them just because they messed me about 😂 croc head however crocheted up no problem and I realised I miss amigurumi so planning on lots more soon 😊 thanks lovely lady 🦩🦩

Hi Donna. Thank you. You aren’t the first person to say that. One of my best friends keeps telling me I am better than I think! I should start listening I guess. Again thank you so much xx♥️

Hi Jules, I always find if I make one mistake I’ll make silly mistakes a few times 😂. Your sock will be fabulous xx

@ it’s playing havoc with my fibro where it was soo cold 🥶. I’m doing ok though missing my eldest who went back to uni Saturday. We do WhatsApp or message each other nearly every day though 🤭. I hope you are doing better now xx

I love the colours you have chosen for the socks! So sorry you had such a rough start to the pattern... allow me to possible help you avoid another error which I almost made... I read the pattern where is says to do 6 repeats of rows 9-16 and thought ok, so thats it for the front bit... but oh no.... thats just the 'leg' bit (I did think it looked short lol) it then tells you to do again to repeat rows 9-16 till it reaches just below the tip of your smallest toe... this is the top of the foot!! Luckily I realised my error before cutting the yarn off and starting on the back! Apart from that little hiccup I have found it - so far - a very easy pattern, but I suspect once we start joining the back to the front every row it will be more challenging. Love the amigurumi your going to tackle too. I need to make my 'due on May 18th' grandson a few toys, well a duck really, because I love ducks lol
Later!! Love our little catch ups each day.

My first baby toy was a duck. I still have it. And a grandson! Wow exciting. Thank you for explaining that because I was just about to measure it for the leg only too. Great save thank you.
The pattern is fine, I think because I haven’t followed a West pattern before I’m not used to his style of writing yet. I’m so looking forward to seeing how your fox tail brioche turns out. Looks so pretty and cool.

@@julescrafts-j1u Am the same... never done any of his patterns either, so its a learning curve. Glad I am not alone in the misread... and OMG... my first baby toy was ALSO a DUCK AND I still have it!! I got it when I was just 1 day old. I will start the flying foxtail once I have this viking finished and made the duck.💜💜
