If you like, and are impressed by that Waterfall so much, then you MUST drive up the A5 about 2.5 miles north-west of the Village, to a place called Swallow Falls Waterfall. It's much bigger, more impressive, far louder, and you can feel the earth tremble from the sheer strength and weight of the falling water masses when standing beside it. There are also the odd little balconys built out over the water, to go stand in the fine spray of the falling and bouncing thundery powerful amounts of falling water and take some wonderful photos etc.... it's absolutely incredible! The Swallow Falls Hotel next to the Car Park does a fantastic Lamb Stew, should you be hungry after your visit! I've seen a few large waterfalls around Europe over the years, but this one, hidden away in the woods, impressed me the most.
Hi Kev. Great video. I've got a uncle who lives there in Betws y coed. Not been to visit for years so you've inspired me to make the effort. Thanks again mate
Beautiful place Kev, was there only last week for a family moment. Nice info on Anna Davies, never knew any of that, food is nice in the Royal Oak Great walks along that river Cheers
Stuff like this is showing you in your life & the things that you enjoy. It makes it easier for you to do & opens up the eyes of people from elsewhere in the country, like myself, of the greatness of our nations. Fantastic to just explore small towns & villages. We are great, aren't we. You looked relaxed & that is what a break should do for you. 👍
Hi kev, hope you're enjoying your holiday although very windy here in Wales at the moment, lovely part of the world betws y coed, I would highly recommend devil kitchen lovely walk head past capil cerig very scenic great for photos 👍
Nice video, Kev. I love it there. Been many times. Had lunch on that train when it used to do food and drinks. Beautiful place, and only a short drive from Liverpool.
Its funny, I was almost tempted to suggest on your last video to visit here - and photo op at swallow falls. on the out road towards Snowdonia. So for content as you're in the area I'll suggest Port Merion instead .... backdrop to 'The Prisoner' and has its own pottery !
Also, multiple castles close by Harlech, Caernarfon etc ... and railways at Blaenau Ffestiniog and Porthmadog and the Snowdonia ones around Llanberis and up the mountain.
We often stayed overnight here on our way to/from Liverpool ,lovely spot and like the variety this walkabout brings to your Channel...You'll be walking The Miners Trail up Snowden yet !! Myself n my daughter were pottering about Anfield on the Wednesday before Sheff Utd, doing laps in the hope we'd bump into one of ur vids 😂 "There's the wooden seat KC sat on !" Says me daughter !!
Hi Kev, the train used to be a cafe, served some lovely food, tea and coffee, was always popular fell into disrepair a while ago now. Sad really, used to be lots of people sat around it and inside enjoying their meals. Over by the old old church is a lovely bridge over a River. Beautiful spot. Did buy some items from within the church, honesty box is built into the wall to the left of the door on way out. 🙂🙂🙂 You forgot to sign the visitor's book on table by same door. Amazing variety of people from many places have filled it in over the years. Is a lovely church. I made a suggestion on Mister drones Bramley Moore Dock video about what a good idea to have a train like the one in Betws-y-Coed parked up on the heritage rail tracks at Bramley Moore painted in Everton colours. It could do the same and be a Cafe, selling meals, Tea coffee and refreshments to Football fans on match day and through the week because I believe the new Everton Stadium will become a very popular tourist attraction all year round with local fans and people visiting Liverpool. Is an amazing stadium in an even more amazing location. The city of Liverpool fourth Grace. ❤❤❤😊😊😊
*The Place BETWS Y COED is pronounced BETUS UR COID* The whole county of Gwynedd and surrounding area is STUNNING. Buses S1, and T10 help you to explore outside of the village. They run for 12 hours a day from 07.30am. Bus stops throughout the village. An ALL DAY ticket will cost a single person £6.50 and enables you to hop-on and hop-off as you wish.. There are also family tickets available. CASH or CARD is taken on board with the driver. Do not miss the PEN Y PASS (By DOUBLE DECKER Bus S1) experience - STUNNING!
@@Kevcupo can’t imagine why it would either mate, half of downtown Merseyside’s roofs come from the surrounding slate mines, up until the 1930’s attempt at Public Housing so unless you’re into a 2 hour commute toConnas Quay or if you’re milking the civil servants system there is nothing growing there other than great mushies in September and the odd tourist. Keep it up mate m loving this channel. ☘️📚👍
Lovely part of north walele big for mtbking 🤟
Cool place use to go there as kid in the caravan memories 😊enjoy kev 👍
Cheers William
