  • After having completed these 4 guns, i finally decided to make a video of them.
Here's a (nearly) 10 minute long video of me playing around with them, the map uses a simple Deathmatch mapadd my good friend Toni Counter-Life made.
It has constantly respawning combines that run around and fight you and everyone else.
    Guns as appearing in order:
    Stereotypical Barrett M82;
I guess what got me making this was the odd thought that i had never made a gun before, that was super OP and ridicules over all. So here it is... My attempt at a stereotypical Barret 50. Cal.
Basically, it has too much power, damage, recoil and such.
However, i couldn't keep my fingers off the nerf button. And decided to make the player very slow with it, and having to cock it after every shot.
It's funny how much trouble i had with this gun, i was actually just thinking it would be an hours work. But 6 hours later when my mom called me for dinner, i knew i was screwed xD
The gun also has a 3D scope, but in all honesty i dont ever use it.

    Renewed Ar2:
Now this is a more interesting project. As i finally got a decent firing sound for my Ar2 i begun using it more, thus starting to realize all the bugs the original model had in Smod, for not mentioning the bad sight.
The poor job i did on adding CSS hands to it was also a factor to this. So i decided to overall renew the model.
The first i did here was get a "fixed" ar2 model, which i happily used. First off, the model was very broken over all. There was also some odd light glitches etc.
After wasting 7-8 hours on this shit, i thought it would be better to start over.
So the next day i spent 4 hours remaking it all.
This time using the original Ar2 model, i only copy pasted the CSS hands. Rest was done from the bottom up. This time around i also payed more attention to the ironsight, and the original concept of the Ar2.

All you missed(Better view of what i mean by the original Ar2 concept, and added side pieces.)

    AK47:
I dont know why i went through with this one. I guess for the sake of it.
This is here is just a replacement for the normal Smod Ak-47. And as i am converting to mainly using CSS hands, it would be an obvious skin to make.
I know the model looks like ass, but it's from a game just as bad (SoF3) I was honestly surprised about the pixelated texture.
What's kinda funny, is that the diffuse map is only 512x512 pixels, where as the specular/normap maps are 1024x1024 o,O
And the specular (as for all SoF3 weapons) is just the diffuse with a few whiteys added here and there.

    Desert Eagle .44
Now this is where shit gets good :D
I've always thought there was a certain lag of a .44 Deagle. I surely have never seen one for CSS. And mostly in other games, they tend to be shit.
With high recoil, decent damage, no accuracy. Thats why i have always liked the .50AE Deagle better. But i guess this custom script here shows that it doesn't have to be a .50AE for it to be cool.
I honestly think this is one of the best guns i've made to date, the recoil feels strong, the animations aswell. The sounds also help on that ^^

Animations: Kopter, Josh Zemlinsky(Adjusting slide movement abit)
    Model/textures: Cauldron Studios
Sounds: Cannot remember ;_; Or i dont know xD
    Compile/rest: Josh Zemlinsky (Yet again)

Alright that should be all :)
I hope you all enjoy the video, i sure did making it and the things shown. :D
