He was caught in the act but Rose is still convinced that he is a good man, going along with his plans though completely oblivious of them. Jack knew he was going to be taken away and locked up after the ship ride, separating him and Rose. So, he decided that, if he can't have Rose, no one can. Nobody knew how or when his plan started, but it worked and the ship sank. He was gonna kill Rose in the end rather than he die and she be with another man but Rose realizes everything and lets him go.

It sounds like Rose is so lovesick over losing Jack that she kills herself to be with him, and the modulation is right as she’s doing it. “My heart will go on” doesn’t mean that she’ll heal, it literally means she believes that her heart and love for Jack will follow her into the afterlife.

Transcribing a song from Major to minor isn't that hard, but the key changes inside (intra song) are really difficult. There's often notes that don't sit on the same scale as the original (but transcribed.) Very impressive.
