Echo, the first project under the Spotlight label, IS BRANDED as Marvel Studios! In fact, the Spotlight label doesn’t appear in the Echo trailer or on its poster, but the Marvel Studios label is. The Spotlight projects are still labeled first and foremost as Marvel Studios productions.
They should have introduced marvel spotlight sooner and put Black Widow under the marvel spotlight.
I'd also add Hawkeye and Werewolf by Night to that list
Moonknight should have been on the list black widow should have just been good it didn’t need to be rated R.

Well, whatever happens going forward, I'm just happy that I got to live during the golden era of the MCU, and experience it brand-new. I'll never forget the feeling I felt when Banner said: _"I'm always angry."_ And then that punch. 😳When that movie was over, and the audience was clapping I just sat there dumbfounded: _"What the hell did I just see?!?"_ Good times.
For me it was Hulk punching Thor and the 'herumph' that broke me 🤣
Both of those are legendary but the best is a tie for Capt picking up the hammer or falcon announcing everyone’s return in Endgame. That was chilling
Blade will probably be a marvel studios spotlight film.
So his own show will be more mature and violent, while the films and other shows he's featured in, that aspect of the character will be scaled back. Sounds perfect. This is the best way to utilize Daredevil across the MCU. Perfect plan.
I really really hope marvel spotlight is the defenders division of the mcu. I really hope this marvel spotlight section can include future seasons of defenders, jessica jones, iron fist, punisher, and luke cage. Lets continue where we left off with the defenders!
If they continue with them and all the same actors they need to make it better though.
@slapyoulikeimconnery55 it was pretty good already, Iron fist wasn't all that bad in my opinion but the iron fist s3 plans sound great. Daredevil and Jessica r already good enough, luke cage and iron fist r already great too but ofc they can be improved. I don't see a reason not to continue their stories without retconning anything
Just reboot the marvel knights, a place for gritty stories and heroes. I know it had a rough start with punisher war zone and ghost rider 2, lets give them a chance
Not surprised at all, since Echo is under Spotlight too
making it Black Label, hoping it goes well could open up chances for Punisher, Ghost Rider, and maybe Blade

it sounds like they've got a plan with this spotlight stuff so hopefully this is a good sign, well it's a good sign anytime we get more mature projects i think.
I know Daredevil won't do much or anything to Kang but i still hope he's in a Spiderman movie, Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. Same with Punisher in Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.
I say it's a good thing; I always thought Marvel would use Touchstone as an outlet for more mature characters like Deadpool and Punisher like Disney did long ago but Spotlight is looking more promising by the day.
Like the sound of that and I like it better having it just say Marvel and not including the word studios just looks more exciting and makes sense to have it under the mature category so it's easier to tell the difference.

Question: if the Marvels featured Spiderman, Daredevil and Dr Strange instead of the female characters, with the same story, would the woke bros still be saying MCU is in trouble and need better writers?!
The story of the Marvels is very much connected to the characters of the Marvels so you can't just replace the characters and tell the same story.
Either way, the anti-woke crowd are bad faith actors and shouldn't be taken seriously.

That’s great because it means there will be more series that Marvel Studios would’ve probably cancelled.
Feel like this video explains TV-MA, but doesn’t address the question about how the plot fits into MCU future if under spotlight?
We know DD character will show up in other things. But if Born Again is Marvel Spotlight, does that mean any DD interactions outside the series stand apart/ stand alone from the show? Will his interaction w Spider-Man be influenced by series events? Will future interactions w kingpin outside the series acknowledge events from Born Again, or is it separate?
They’ll probably reference when he shows up in other shows and movies it but you probably won’t have to watch it to understand what’s going on in the mcu
This probably also means that we won't see any major MCU cameos in this series like Spider-man or She Hulk.
Sony prohibits marvel from using Spiderman for MCU series. They can only use him for the movies
I really hope they just buff daredevil but keep the tone and make him more agile still , I really hope we can get daredevil fighting against hundreds of soldiers with Spider-Man but a grounded agility and they both fight realistically and practically it’d be so cool to see those two teaming up but gritty violent brutal fighting obviously Spider-Man has super strength but it’d be cool to see it at ground level in the mcu
Huh? The way I understood it is that the Marvel Spotlight label is just a label under Marvel Studios to make it clear it's watchable without homework. Marvel Studios will still appear. This is not a case of DC Elseworlds vs DCU. Marvel Spotlight is still in the MCU and produced by the same people aka Marvel Studios.

This is a different bannwr under the MCU that caters toward more self contained and adult stories.
Think of it in the same vein as what the Marvel Knights publishing line was to the 616 comics. It was still in continuity with the 616 comics but they gave it a different banner to let people know that these stories are more serious and not made for children.

From what I’ve seenin videos Kevin Feige seems to be taking the stance of I didn’t create the Netflix Daredevil so it’s not cannon to the main 616 MCU timeline. It’s cannon through the multiverse.
It ALL means nothing if the TERRIBLE Disney writers destroy it.

It will make sense if you think back to 2013-2020 with Marvel Studios and Marvel TV. Marvel TV was in the MCU but the marvel studios didn't acknowledge any of the shows actually happening. Similar to that.
