Great tips & techniques for beginners to use for painting fur details. I have definitely learned something new by watching your blending techniques with the background colors. I have got a 3/8 inch Princeton Velvetouch Filbert Grainer brush that I use for fur/hair details/textures & grasses. Although I am still thinking of making a few different sizes out of some of my older worn out brushes. Thanks for sharing this informational & inspiring video.
Paul, Greetings from the USA (the cold part ☃☃☃). Thank you for the excellent detailed instruction with close-up viewing. This is better quality than any art course I had in college!. Best wishes to you and yours for a great 2023. 😊
You can buy them, look for comber or rake brushes, which come in a variety of sizes. As you can see here I do like to make my own as each one is unique. 🙂
Hi Angela, there certainly is, I do have a playlist for painting feathers. Here is one of the video on painting a Robins feathers, I hope it helps. Paul 🎨 bit.ly/3WGG06U

Do you “make” a replicator brush by splaying out the fibers manually, or can you buy a replicator brush?

Following on from my last comment, is there a similar demo for feathers? X
