The best thing about this video is not Jared’s reaction, he is your husband, he is supposed to react like that and be supportive even if in the inside he doesn’t really like it (which I highly doubt because Ellie looks incredible). What is great about this situation is what the kids are learning, they are going to grow up to become amazing people and incredible partners! Those are 3 men that are going to be sweet, loving and kind, and hopefully help this world become a better place

My daughter (who was about 2 at the time) had a similar reaction to Calvin's, to a perm I got but the good thing was my son (who by the way is also named Calvin) told me my hair looked beautiful and he gave me a big smile. It didn't matter that my daughter was crying because I looked different because my son told me I looked beautiful and it made my heart melt.

I know so many mums who do a big haircut/change just before or soon after giving birth. I did the same at about 37-38wks and it made it sooo much easier once my daughter was born

Your haircut is giving me so many different types of emotions (all positive). It's youthful, fun, flirty, gorgeous, etc, but also seems really mom-like. I have my hair shorter a few years ago, and taking care of it was so easy. You honestly look refreshed, and I am excited for you to rock the new look!

Calvin is so cute. That's what I love about young kids. They are not shy in telling how they feel. Ellie, I think I know what you were saying in the end about not getting truly excited until your baby is in your arms. It's hard to get your hopes up after a loss, know matter what kind. You don't want to get so excited just incase something will happen. Loss takes a toll on our hearts. After you lost your second baby last year I cried and prayed so hard for you and the Lord gave me a word. That you would get pregnant again quickly, (which you did) and that your pregnancy, labor and birth will be fine. GOD IS WITH YOU. Blessings and Love, Karen.
