I literally have an alarm set every single day for 6am to get up before my kids 😂. There is the occasional day where I hit snooze in my sleep and man what a difference it makes. I love being up and awake before my kids!

I literally used nothing in my hospital bag but my going home clothes 😂 the hospital really has everything you need and I had zero energy to even get up and touch my bag. The only thing I would recommend is a boppy pillow for breastfeeding! I also brought my husband a few gifts that he got to open in the hospital before becoming a new dad 💕
You are both just too cute. Ellie I love the pants you have on. Can't wait to meet your little man. My daughter is due July 22 with her first. She's having a girl. And yesterday my other daughter just found out she is pregnant with her 2nd after trying for 3 yrs to conceive again. I am beyond thankful for my family.

So.etimes I get overwhelmed watching Ellie. I remember all the infertility issues, the phone call from the dr telling them they were having a baby, pergnancy test in the walmart (I think lol) bathroom, having Calvin, going through a miscarriage and now only a couple days/weeks from holding baby number 3. My heart is so full for how far this infertility journey has come and how its changed and how Ellie has blossomed through the whole thing. My heart is full for her.
Jared has come so far as well amd he has NEVER once showed aggitation or frustration toward the hard days and he has always supported Ellie and the world needs more versions of Jared!

I know I have told you and your momma this but when hurricane Harvey hit last year as devastating as it was when it was time to have a contractor and get our house rebuilt I knew EXACTLY what to do thanks to you all!

I made sure I got a nursing bra before my labor with my son! I didn’t want to be topless but like you said, I wanted that skin to skin but still some modesty and it worked out great! Next time around I’m definitely getting my own “mesh” undies. The hospital ones are nice but you’re right, definitely doesn’t hold ya in 🤣
I brought essential oils to my labor which was so nice and calming! I also had my hubby bring a boppy which was better than using the pillows!

I just love that she keeps saying 27 😂 makes me laugh so hard because I do the exact same stuff. I'm also a new mama of 3 and can't ever seem to say the right thing. My kids make my brain tired lol! I understand Ellie and you are just too cute! By the way I have been praying so much for you during this pregnancy. I have 2 little boys that are 4 years old and 3 years old and then I had two miscarriages back to back before having our sweet baby girl that is now 5 months old. Everything you have talked about this pregnancy with your emotions I relate so much to. My anxiety and depression were through the roof with my last pregnancy. I was so beyond scared every moment of the pregnancy. I remember so clearly the relief I felt when I heard her crying. I know you will be so relieved to finally have your sweet little guy in your arms and I will continue to pray for comfort and peace for you!

Could you please talk about what your plan is with the boys? Will Jared spend every night with you in the hospital or just the first night? We are expecting our second and I will have a c-section and not sure if I want to leave our toddler with someone for 2-3 nights in a row. What’s your best advice for this? Thank you guys!

Ellie, having been a midwifery assistant, one thing I know you're missing is lip balm. Absolutely essential with the breathing during labour, especially if they also need to give you oxygen for any reason. I have also done a DIY labour kit video on my channel, which you may find helpful. It has other ideas in it you could benefit from, but I don't really have space to tell you about here without a crazy long comment! Lol!

Im so excited for baby! I've been checking in everyday on twitter, Instagram, you tube, everything, just to see if your sweet little baby boy's been born! I always feel like part of your life with how excited I get over anything and everything involving you guys. Jared you are so good to Ellie, I wish everyone could be like that, and Ellie, ahh! That haircut is awesome! Im getting my haircut soon, and I am so getting it cut like yours! I've never been one for styling hair, normally i brush it and throw it in a bun or ponytail, but i just love yours so much! Cant wait for baby, Jackson and Calvin are going to the sweetest brothers, and i know baby will too with parents like you guys!
I always stayed five days in the hospital after my three caesareans and as soon as I could walk I took a shower. When I was hospitalized, what I liked best was to start the day with a shower, wear pajamas and clean underwear. So the days did not seem to go on and I was always fresh and ready to start the day and the visits. The baby stays with the father and we always have time to take care of ourselves.

Take your own pillows as the hospitals are horrible as well as their towels! Something special I used to do as a nursery nurse was wait for awhile to do the baby's first bath and did it when the siblings came for their first visit. Also did it in the mom's room on the warmer bed that the baby is first on when they are born! Families loved that as well as got great pics of the kids ohhhing and ahhhing over their baby! Great way to help them bond as well! So if you like the idea, you might ask the staff if that was possible...would make an awesome different vlog! And sorry I am using my husband's site as I don't have my own...C!
