WE! I love it. Working alone or with others its always WE. It's actually a form of humility. I don't need all the credit for my ego even if I am the ONLY one doing it.
Definitely look forward to the detailed install video. My installs always take twice as long as i would like them to. Love the rough sawn look on that cabinetry.
You’re doing a great job ! And keeping your Wife happy is a really great thing to do! I am looking forward to the door build ! Last one I did was clients request “ solid Cypress” ( tree in his yard) all rough cut. I had to soak it in a wood save material after building it because it was solid ? Then drilled out all the lock sets & hung. Can’t wait; I want to build all entry doors to my house ! Good stuff!
An option for a french cleat ‘style’ that I’ve used is rabetting both pieces instead of a miter. The key is to make the tongue of the rabbet smaller so it’s not tight when they interlock..that why you can still move it around front to back without it sliding up like it would with a 45 miter 👍 Kitchen looking good! Cool you got a helper again too. Way to go!
Do you still spray your evo with the big ol tip on there, like a 313 or 513?....you mentioned way back on your srpray video. If so highly recommend getting some ff tips, the tritech ultra finish are amazing.310 for primer and 308/206 for top. I spray the same paint w that same cheap rig and it lays out beautifully, last video looks like you gotta move so fast and so much overspray for that light coat.
The cleat for install is genius. Question tho, if a standard cabinet is 24" off the wall do you make your cabinets 23 1/2 inches to accommodate for the 1/2" cleat?
Don't know if you've answered this before, but what is the sqft of your shop? I'm starting to plan a shop big enough for one plus a helper and would love your thoughts on size requirements. Thanks.
Regarding the cleat you use on the back of your cabinets, is the depth of your cabinets 1/2” narrower to allow for your cleat or are your base cabinets 24-1/2” deep?
My cabinet end up being about 25” deep. 23” inside of box, 1/2” back , 1/2” cleat plus 1” door. This works out better especially where the dishwasher is. It always seems to need that little extra depth.
Thats crazy bro..really that someone is making a big deal because you are saying "we"..them people must have no life and watch videos jus to bitch and complain about the littlest things they can find..smh..#GO COWBOYS!!!!..

Oh yeah that would work too.
love the cleat "trick"!
Works great
Just got set up with a Maggie construction drill and using confirmat screws. They hold very well
Oh nice. Yeah I bet they work great

Been using a 311 tip. Definitely need to go back to the ff tip

Yup
Looking forward to the interior doors video!
Gunna be fun to build
What have you been using for plywood on your boxes? MDF/combi core? Or just straight veneer core?
Pre finished birch ply
Just found you from Tiktok, I really like your channel!
Awesome. Thanks for watching
I'm looking forward to the doors video. I really want to build an exterior door for my house. Need to learn some techniques.
Check out Mike Farrington , he just made a video on door construction.
I’m looking forward to it as well.
Yeah he did. Great video. His channel is one of my favorites.
What brand of safety glasses are you always wearing, thought you said in a previous video but can’t seem to find it, thanks
Toroe Eyewear

My shop was an about 1900 sf. It’s great size for two people but a few hundred more square feet wouldn’t hurt!

right…thought of this question last video too

I’m definitely going to try this out love channel
Agree about the dishwasher, but I usually get by squeezing it in 24” deep. I do make my islands 26” deep when there’s a dishwasher.
Can you link to the corner pull out, would it work for a lazy suzan?
It’s called a lemans 2. It wouldn’t work in a lazy Susan cabinet
So are you looking around for your next shop location? lol
Seriously, picture working on 2 large kitchens and getting them to the stage these are.
lol. Not right now. Definitely couldn’t do two kitchens at once in here
I worked for a company that did ALL their uppers on French cleats and it is nothing like that base cab that you have showed there lol
Nice!
Gotta ask... You from Jersey?
No im from Connecticut. Moved out west 4 years ago
I have seen RUclips evaluations of drywall screw strength and they didn't disappoint. I understand why a pro wouldn't choose them though.
Yeah
FFS what’s does that matter
Videos are great
We is better tho just to be clear 😉🏴
lol what??? FFS?? Please explain. I just woke up hahaha
