- The Gargoyle is a large, interplanetary transport vessel designed to ferry troops and supplies across great distances. Fully outfitted for prolonged time between its destinations, it comes equipped with jump drives, refineries, assemblers, and fully set crew quarters. The Gargoyle can ferry its cargo to distant systems and then stay and support the ground forces with its onboard systems.

the landing gear is an independent blueprint by autocyb227. they actually have a few landing gear sets like the one in this video along with a couple hangar doors
Is there an xbox equivalent?

This is definitely one of the best looking ships I've ever seen
For sure, the space was used very efficiently with all the signs and stuff that were put in.

Really like that use of lights on coloured glass for that glow. And how those nacelles are really firmly secured.

This landing gear may be the most elaborate thing I've seen in this game yet, and somehow it seems to work perfectly!
It'd be useless until you have a HUGE ship, like this ship they take up more space than the cargo and hangar, but if you have an even bigger ship they'd be amazing
I built a ship that uses 6 of them, and they are capable of supporting a ship that weighs over 40 kilotons so i highly recommend them, theyre really good!
It's a heavy freighter approximately 300 meters in length
Reminds me of some TNS Battlestar Galactica designs, Especially the ribs on the hull. Looks like a civilian version of a firestar.

I really wish there was an update that made transport ships and trade ships essential to move around resources. It would make large multiplayer servers way more interesting.

Oh yeah lemme get some more of that tiny pain in the ass inventory space 99.9% of these kind of games just LOVE to use, can't even have 1 game being tolerable NOOOOO.
Also I love having to build unneeded cargo ships just to move cargo around as a result cranking up the game's bitching about PCU use even in single player.
Even using the largest capacity settings I HATE having to move more than the player character can carry because docking your ship at a conveyor connector is fucking obnoxious.

Amazing ship. Though, if I were to build it in survival, I would move the interior thrusters to the outside (freeing up space) and then rip out the whole elaborate landing gear system (it won't project anyway so it would save me a lot of headaches trying to figure it out myself.)
Yeah it looks cool but those 3 gear bay are probably larger then the cargo bay ;D
That's a fair point. Although the landing gear is spectacular, I believe the ship would be almost as cool without it, and if replacing it with something you could reliably build without exploding makes the ship actually useful in survival, go for it.

It’s mostly down to scheduling and interest. Sage was in one of the Colony shows as the main villain iirc.

I could almost see a militarized version of this being used as a troop transport. A bit heavier armor and you could probably use this to send troops safely to the front lines
Put a heavily armed rover in the back and a support fighter fleet and it becomes a very capable battle/gunship
Just those landing gear are amazing. Great job with this ship. Can you use the new magnetic plates to lock down the sub grid landing gear?

Its a phenomal as a creative ship but unfortunately its too complicated to be a solid survival ship. Finding and repairing any damage can be a real chore, and ease of access to parts for quick repair is very important.
Mishaps happen, and a ship like this can be extremely difficult to repair.

I am always wanting to know the full grid mass and PCU cost of the main grid. This looks like a 8 million kg 25,000 PCU ship. The landing gear system is cool but very complex and expensive at 1500 PCU per landing gear assembly
Hey so I made a copy of your ship but in my own way and swapped the front to back just by watching your video without a Blueprint and today I found your ship in the mod io and it's crazy how close they are to being the same ship

A fantastic ship, but I don't know if it's a "can use in a survival world ship" just looks like a lot of sub-grids to setup is all.
It should have a button to switch off the engines once it's landed, to save fuel and power.
That button is, practically speaking, Z.
Does anyone know how to fix the corrupted world error? I just bought the game and the first thing i face are these problems already :(
Go to C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves, you'll se a folder or two with a bunch of numbers, one will have all your worlds stored with the name you put when they were created.
Enter the world file, go to the folder Backup, and there you'll have your last 5 saves if you didn't edit the amount in the world config.
Open the uncorrupted save file (the newest one is the corrupted so don't use that), inside each folder, there will be a bunch of files and the capture of the save. Copy all files and paste them on the world folder, replace the corrupted files and it should be good to go.
You can do all this with the game open on the menu.

Neat ship, it is too bad you can't build it in survival. It would build the main ship, but because the ramp and landing gear are separate grids, you can't build it in a survival gane.
You can build it. It just isn't easy to build.
