Nice work. You can use your blade against spirit level so you get straight cuts. And outside paneling maybe should be covered with some wood oil so it lasts longer. Keep on working, this is going to be awesome.
ypu take a paper egg carton fill the wholes with dryer fluff pour melted old candles this makes a great fire started you just break off a piece when you start it.

I am from new Brunswick Canada. Where is your cabin lose to. I love farms. I grew up on a farm in rural nb called the belleisle.
