At 51:09 hearing that exchange of gunfire reminds me of when we were little kids back in the 1950's. My brothers had cap guns that held the red roll of "bullets" When the gun hammer hit one of the bullets it made a snapping popping sound. I don't know if the black power in the roll was actual gun powder or not. I hope not! Probasbly the same stuff used in fireworks.

At 30":19 The guy sitting at the table says,"you leave that to me." Famous last words.

Funny, at 50:56 The outlaw gave Bill Carson time to dismount and get behind a rock to fire the first shot.

As a former U.S. Army combat soldier for two years with the Big Red One in Nam (all of 1967 and 1968) I happen to know a great deal about guns (which we called "weapons and not guns" while in the army). Therefore, as I watched a man use the butt of his peacemaker to drive nails in a tree to post wanted signs for Paul Smith, I was struck by the fact that no one who valued their weapon (in this case a .45) would ever do such a thing with their peacemaker. Just one of the many anomalies in the old time westerns. StocktonRob

At 11:46 Looks like Hosea's face has dark make-up except his hands were left white. "Go Figure!"

I have known Mexicans with red hair and green eyes. The Spanish, for the most part, were and are very fair skinned and many have blue or hazel eyes. The darker color of the Mexican comes from the Aztec, Mayan and Apache Blood lines.

Tim did a great Mexican in several movies. His English reminds me of Ricky Ricardo. I guess it would be racist in today's touchy world

I really dislike cars or anything modern in westerns. It ruins them.
