Cliffy, my Mikey was my first love.
His Dad was our dealer.
We used to drown out pain we had from abuses we suffered as young kids. For so long we medicated together.
I left after it was too much. I got the call halfway on my bus ride to my new life, he was gone...
I still ask myself if his pain is over, and I live my life everyday for him and the chances he never got.
Running is what I was good at. He was born in the same town he died, poor babe never got a chance to leave...

I'm not an english native, but for that second verse I hear "I rumble and I tumble with the man upstairs" and those 2 words seem to exist, don't know if it's right. The music is beautifull by the way !

I’ve tried to convince people to listen to Matt, they all are fully into rap and the trending music, it’s so upsetting because Matt is generally the most intelligent musician I think I’ve ever heard, he is yet to surprise me with a song I don’t like and can actually live without listening too, one day you will blow up and I look forward for that day when you get what you deserve you absolute legend xxx
